After 18 months of talking about buying a new mattress and not actually doing it because we weren't…read moresure where to go or what to buy, we decided to come here on the recommendation of two separate friends. It was an excellent shopping experience. We were done in about 20 minutes. The owner, Glenn, knows EVERYTHING about mattresses. We walked into the warehouse and he asked if we wanted to look around on our own or wanted some suggestions. We asked for suggestions. He zeroed us in on three models, had very detailed info on each. (His website also has a lot of great info.) Great prices. Next-day delivery plus removal of the old mattress. Also sells sheets, pillows, metal bed frames, and mattress covers. Since we were moving from a queen to a king, that was all really handy. Also, he works with manufacturers to get flippable mattresses, which are hard to find now. He said that one-sided mattresses are basically like buying half a mattress. People will go to him specifically for 2-siders. He says he doesn't advertise because he gets so many referrals. We were so impressed with him, we actually called the next day before the delivery and asked him to throw in a second mattress to replace one from another bedroom. I felt fine just buying it over the phone because he's that knowledgeable. He also gave us a bit of a discount for buying two. "I'm a long-term operation," he said several times. He wants customers for life. Mattress is good so far. A little firm but it takes a while to break them in. Also, as Glenn pointed out, a mattress can always be made softer with mattress toppers but it cannot be made firmer. Highly recommend!

Gary was very nice, and spent quality time with me to make sure I would get the correct mattress for us. I ask him many questions. He answers all my questions. Luckly, they had the mattress available at that location, because I moved from out of town, and needed it the same day. Gary was very customer service driven, and my experience at this location was a 5-star rating. Gary went out of his way to tie the mattress/Box Spring down on the roof of my car perfectly, even though, I could of did it myself. He offers to do it for me. He went way out of his way to make my mattress buying experience extremely easy. Excellent employee, thank you from Brad and Stacey.

I bought a couch 16 months ago from them, and last week, the stiching in one of the pillows came out. Looking at the pillow, it is obviously a flaw in production, so I went to Raymour and Flanigan to see if they could replace the pillow. Instead, they said without the extended warranty, they would not look at it. 4 months out of warranty on a pillow. If your quality is not good, make it right for a customer who has bought and will continue to buy. A pillow. Now they will never see me again or my dollars. Over a pillow.

Purchased a $2k Miele dishwasher in September 2024, and my experience with Gerhard's Appliance has been nothing short of a nightmare. The delivery process was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I had to reschedule and miss work FIVE times for installation, each time due to different issues: 1. product damaged upon arrival 2. no show - someone got hurt. 3. no show - flood at previous job site 4. install completed, but forgot a crucial bracket for the door 5. installation completed Fast forward to March 2025, and the unit was wobbling all over because it was never installed correctly in the first place. I made an appointment a week in advance, only to end up canceling Friday evening personal plans due to their lack of competence and lateness. Friday arrival window was supposed to be Noon to 4 pm. Instead, received notification between 7:10 pm and 7:40 pm. I was in contact with customer service throughout the day, complaining about the delays. The Customer Service Manager was absolutely useless and promised to call me before leaving - but, as expected, there was no follow-up. DO NOT USE Gerhard's Appliance. The entire experience has been frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs. FOLLOW UP - love the standard response from a 'manager/owner' to email them for resolution as they are too lazy to follow up directly with the customer. I think I have wasted enough time with this company - just want others to be aware.
