Then as I was calling Sherman's, the drivers unloaded the machines WITHOUT PROTECTION onto a gravel driveway and left. Go anywhere else. This place didn't even try to make it right, and that's after spending like $6-7k in the last two weeks at their store. It goes without saying I told them to pick it up and refund me so I could order elsewhere!!

1. Bed was supposed to be delivered the week I bought it from Grand Prairie Mall. I called a few…read moredays after it was supposed to be delivered. They told me someone would call me on Monday to reschedule. That call never happened. Later that week I went into the store to coordinate the delivery of my bed. Also, I was supposed to be called when the mattress pad arrived in the store (I had to pick this up) and again no one called for this either. Grade F for delivery and customer service 2. The day after I received the bed I wanted to return it. The smell was so bad we had to close the door to our room and open the windows. Whole family had headaches and felt sick. Called and said we wanted to return the bed but they said they do not do returns. The owners son said this is the industry standard. This is a lie because I called American TV, Mattress Firm, Stegers, and Denver Mattress and they all have a return policy. One store even lets you return up to 100 days after purchase. Grade F for Return Policy and Honesty 3. After a month of airing out our room, we were finally able to start sleeping on the bed. We were expecting to have a great nights rest on this very expensive bed. Sad to say it was one of the worst nights rest. It was so soft and didn't feel anything like it did in the store. They were kind enough to exchange this bed for a more firm mattress but it cost us $800 (more expensive bed). This bed is also too soft and didn't feel anything like it did in the store. They will let us exchange this for another mattress but the mattress is cheaper. The owner said it was $400 cheaper and we wouldn't get the difference for an in-store credit. It's just a mattress for mattress exchange. In the end we would lose the $400. However, I did some research on the internet and the bed we want to exchange for is not just $400 cheaper but over $1600! Grade F for customer service and honesty. In the end, we still can't sleep on the new $$$ bed because it kills our backs. We are sleeping on our 15 year old traditional mattress. Please do not think that Tempur Pedic mattress will solve your sleeping issues. It made ours worse. So before you sink your hard earned money into this style mattress, make sure you purchase from a store that has return policy that favors the customer. I am so glad that I did! Before driving the 45+ minutes one-way, I called Factory Direct Mattress in Clinton, IA, and spoke with Domingo. After listening to my past experiences, what I was looking for, and my overall general requirements, he requested that I come to his store & "try on" some mattresses so he could see how each of the mattresses he offered reacted to my body type, shape, and weight. Domingo really knew his stuff...not just about mattresses, but also about food, health, & fitness, and he honestly could be a life coach in general! Within 15 minutes of meeting him, I felt like we had known each other our entire lives! Not only did I walk out of Factory Direct Mattress with a great new king-size mattress, box springs, bed frame, and mattress cover for a great price, but also with the peace of mind that Domingo actually takes care of his customers, and wants to retain his customers for life! In a world where customer service is robotic, automated, or non-existent, it is very refreshing to know that there is at least ONE business today in which honesty, integrity, and a genuine care for the customer still exists!
