Then as I was calling Sherman's, the drivers unloaded the machines WITHOUT PROTECTION onto a gravel driveway and left. I was told they'd refund the delivery and installation fee, but I could either move it myself or let it sit outside in the elements until they could schedule another delivery team in a couple days. Go anywhere else. This place didn't even try to make it right, and that's after spending like $6-7k in the last two weeks at their store. It goes without saying I told them to pick it up and refund me so I could order elsewhere!!

Within 10 months the mattress was sagging badly on both sides. We called them and they immediately begin making excuses but said they would send somebody out to look at it. After looking at it they said that it didn't sag bad enough yet and that we should keep using it until it met the manufacturers criteria for warranty. So here we are using a bad mattress while out over $1,000.00. They blame the manufacturer but we didn't buy from the manufacturer, we bought from Steinberg's. So I guess the bottom line is that their helpfulness ends at the cash register.

Jeff did not finish the job and had to return multiple times. There were a lot of excuses made and no admission they were in over their heads. I have since heard similar horror stories. Wish I had heard them sooner. I will never recommend DJ's for anything!

I will only deal with them, from now on, by telling people to not shop there. You could try something really cheap individually before buying an entire box. They also always had so many food items I never saw anywhere else. The furniture was always reasonable and comfortable. Big Lots had something for everyone whether it was toys, kitchen items, seasonal, men's, women's , pets and many other categories.
