He was very…read moreknowledgeable and helpful in explaining all of the different type of mattresses throughout the store. We were mainly interested in the Tempur-pedic mattresses and he made sure to go through each detail of each one with us. I know mattress salesmen have a bad reputation, but George wasn't pushy at all and made sure to give us space when checking out the mattresses but always making sure he was available to inform us about the products or answer any questions when needed. He also seemed pretty transparent on the pricing of the items which was appreciated. We were happy because the prices seemed very fair based on comparing to items online and the 0% APR on financing with lengthy terms was great. I think it goes all the way up to 72 months 0% APR (they use Synchrony bank). I would definitely suggest going in to the store instead of shopping online because there was so much we learned from George that online research didn't tell us. We ended up getting a Tempur-pedic mattress and base, which included complementary delivery, set up, and removal of our old mattress. Tempu-pedic is currently doing a promotion where you get $300 to spend when you purchase a mattress, so we essentially got the base for $300 off. He also gave us some good freebies/deals on good quality pillows and sheets. A nice perk about Mattress Firm is that they give you a 4 month trial period from delivery date to decide if you want to keep the mattress. If you decide it's not the right one, they will swap them out for you. Although we don't plan on using this safety net, we appreciate that it is offered. Overall, we're very happy with our experience at this Mattress Firm. Honestly, I felt way less pressure than I had experience in the past from people who work on commission. I would definitely shop here again and from George if I ever need another mattress. I can't speak about how delivery will go, but I will update if there are any key points to indicate. Otherwise, you can assume things went well!

It's a beautiful sturdy/ heavy queen storage bed. It has dovetail construction and its rock sturdy with a smooth comfortable upholstered headboard. $1,000 latex FOAM mattress! The owner told me "All mattresses are "hybrids". ' " Is it a true…read morestatement or a false statement to say that "all mattresses are hybrids"? That statement is false. Not all mattresses are hybrids. In the bedding industry, mattresses are categorized into distinct types based on their internal construction, and a hybrid mattress refers to a very specific design. Here is a quick breakdown of how mattresses differ: Hybrid Mattresses: These combine two or more distinct support systems--typically an innerspring coil system at the bottom and thick layers of memory foam, latex, or polyfoam on top. Memory Foam Mattresses: These are made entirely of polyurethane foam and memory foam layers and contain no metal coils whatsoever.Innerspring Mattresses: These rely almost entirely on a network of metal coils for support, usually topped with only a very thin layer of cotton, wool, or fiber padding (not the thick foam layers that define a hybrid).Latex Mattresses: These are constructed entirely from natural or synthetic latex rubber foam, with no coils. While hybrid mattresses are incredibly popular today because they blend the benefits of foam and springs, they represent just one category in the mattress market. Be aware your $1,000, (although not memory foam) will be just upholstery latex FOAM- not have steel "innerspring". This may be why Slumbereaze, of Maryville, WA is not accredited with the BBB.

I was bracing for the worst... And yet, this was seriously the most fun I've ever had buying just about anything! I did do my research before picking Mattress City in Shoreline, having looked for well-reviewed mattress stores - which this is - so I wasn't totally surprised when the sales associates were pleasant - but then they turned out to be so much more than that! Emily and Trinity were knowledgeable, patient, positive, and just about the friendliest and most genuinely upbeat salespeople I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with! They gave us a multitude of options and didn't press us to buy the most expensive mattress or the highest tech mattress, and let us take our time with zero pressure. Emily even offered me a brand new, clean pillowcase right out of the package to put on a pillow so I could shake off my heebie-jeebies of other heads and faces having laid on it, haha. It was a very thoughtful gesture. While we ended up purchasing a mattress a bit over what we had budgeted, that was totally on us. Emily and Trinity were both very supportive of our purchasing the lower-priced model, but then we just kind of shifted gears and went with the fancier mattress - which I know we're going to love! It's a true credit to them that we honestly felt free to spend a little or a lot, and knew we would still receive the same super friendly enthusiasm either way. They even managed to arrange for delivery within 24 hours, which was a true bonus! We won't forget this incredibly positive experience any time soon. Absolutely highly recommend Shoreline Mattress City!
