After my experience with bedkings, I wish I had gone to IKEA instead…read more I bought a bunk bed with an underbed drawer and twin bunkie mattress, but I was delivered a bunk bed that was so coarse that I actually had to sand down parts of it so that my daughters wouldn't scratch themselves! After putting together the bed, I realized that it was missing parts. These parts were the wires and screws that secured the bottom mattress. The twin bunkie mattress that was delivered was also the wrong style. We had ordered a plain white mattress, but they instead shipped a green, boys' soccer themed mattress. Not a huge deal, but what a pain. So the delivery guys forgot to pick up the underbed drawer on top of everything else. After numerous calls and appointments for a week and a half, I finally got the underbed drawer and since they couldn't get the bed parts from the manufacturer, they gave me a bottom bunkie board. I was astonished that the underbed drawer wasn't very deep. I have dresser drawers deeper than it! I even had to sand down these drawers so that nobody would get scratched. I'm happy that I got a bunkie board as a gesture for my troubles, but I'm severely disappointed at the poor worksmanship of the furniture, bad communication with the delivery guys, and overall experience. I wish I had the same positive experience of many of the other people that bought from this place.

While they did deliver the furniture...they did not wrap the furniture or use any kind of mat or carpet to keep from damaging them. The truck these guys used was an old ford ranger that was beat up. The tailgate wouldn't even open. I will not use again.

Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job! With 3 floors, you're going to find pretty much everything you can imagine. Be prepared to really dig though. Truthfully, I prefer thrifting in more curated shops. I'd rather pay more for stuff that has already been carefully picked by shop owners than sift through rows and rows of very basic brands looking for that one gem. Look at the tag colors and check if it's a color that's 1/2 off. You can find some really great deals that way. I bought several very 90s pieces for a few upcoming throwback looks that I plan to put together and the prices were inexpensive/moderate for thrifting.
