We just happened to drive by and saw a log bunk bed out in front of the store, the facade looks like a big metal warehouse. The sign says mattresses, but once inside it is so much more! Bedroom furniture, chairs, rockers, tables, wall art and more! We found their inventory massive and with reasonable prices! The staff is extremely friendly, and so helpful! We purchased a beautiful log bed, end tables, new mattresses, and we could not leave without taking some carved woodland animals with us! This is the "Go To" place for bedroom furnishings in ShowLow, PineTop and Lakeside! Highly recommend and would not bother wasting time looking anywhere else! We came here to look at furniture, and discovered that the displays are absolutely wonderful. When we asked about fabrics and customizing our order, they had an impressive array of choices that blew the doors off the competition. When we balked at our original price estimate they agreed, and without a beat moved to another line that met our price objective. The quality seemed about the same, and the deal they gave us was about twice the furniture as our original choice. We ordered two barrel chairs and a wraparound couch for the living room. The time to manufacture the chairs was longer than they were accustomed to, because of the epidemic raging the country. The two barrel chairs and half of the wraparound couch arrived a little after the estimates said they would. But half the wraparound couch was the wrong color. Blackmarr's followed up and found out the manufacturer would build us a replacement wraparound couch immediately. When the replacement arrived in town, but just to be on the safe side Blackmarr's decided to inspect the shipment. No joy, the manufacturer had shipped the wrong furniture again. Another few months went by, and about the time we were going to follow up we got another call from Blackmarr's. Yes, the right part had arrived, and they would deliver it to our house immediately. As we all held our breath, the couch part was fitted into place. The color matched perfectly. As perfectly as if the original mis-shipped part had been found and re-routed to us. Through all this ordeal, we had the impression Scott and Lindsey at Blackmarr's were just as concerned, if not more so, than we were. They did what a very good merchant would do to keep our future business, with discounts and gifts and cards, and we were positively impressed. Yes, they have kept our business, and we will be shopping there in the future. I won't tell you who the furniture manufacturer was, but I'm sure Blackmarr's will be steering you to better suppliers.

Robby could be a little too honest and we had a well thought out discussion about my needs. I left feeling confident about the mattress and out a lot less $$ than i was expecting. Keep in mind, this is owner operated. I purchased a Tempur-Pedic ProBreeze mattress from Cody for $2,106.96 and was told they would hold…read moreit until I could pick it up. Unfortunately, due to several unforeseen circumstances, including the death of my father, I was unable to pick it up as quickly as I had planned. Although I acknowledge the delay in picking up the mattress, at no point did anyone from the store contact me to ask me to pick it up or advise me that they would no longer hold it. Had they done so, I would have made arrangements immediately. Instead, I was left with the understanding that they were honoring our original agreement. On May 26, 2026, I called and left a voicemail letting them know I was finally ready to pick up my mattress. I never received a return call and had to make several additional calls before Cody finally contacted me on June 14. At that point, he informed me that the mattress I had purchased had been sold to another customer. He assured me he would work with me to replace the mattress I had purchased and promised to get back to me. Unfortunately, that pattern repeated itself for weeks. I had to continually follow up because promised return calls never came, and each conversation ended with another explanation and another promise that he was still trying to locate a replacement. On July 7, Cody told me he had found the mattress but that it was missing the original outer cover. He said a replacement cover had been ordered, that he would check on its status, and that he would get right back to me. He never did. On July 8, I went to the store in person hoping to finally resolve the situation. Cody was not there, but his wife told me they still had the mattress and had been unable to obtain a replacement cover because it had been out of stock the entire time. This directly conflicted with the explanations I had previously been given. At that point, I told her I simply wanted a refund since they could not provide the mattress as purchased. I even offered to accept a refund minus a reasonable restocking fee because I recognized that my delayed pickup had created an inconvenience. She said only Cody could make that decision and asked for more time. I explained that this matter had already been dragging on for weeks and requested a decision by the end of the next business day. I also informed her that, if necessary, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. Ironically, this was the first time Cody called me back promptly. Rather than offering a resolution, he became confrontational and told me he was finished working with me. He said I could dispute the charge if I wanted because, in his opinion, I was not entitled to either the mattress or any refund since I had waited too long to pick it up. I understand that my delayed pickup created an inconvenience, and I was willing to be reasonable by accepting a refund reduced by an appropriate restocking fee. However, I do not believe it is reasonable to sell the mattress I had already paid for without ever notifying me, then refuse to provide either the product or a refund. After paying $2,106.96, I should not lose both the mattress and the money I paid. My disappointment is not simply about the delayed pickup. It is about the lack of communication, the fact that no one ever contacted me to request that I pick up the mattress or warn me that it would no longer be held, the repeated broken promises, the inconsistent explanations, and ultimately being told that neither the product nor a refund would be provided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business with this company.
