I went to Time Out to donate some household items today. As I arrived in the back, there was a couple donating their items as well. The woman said, jokingly, "Let me guess...you have clothes to donate?" I said, "Yes" and the man working (I assume he is in charge) looked up at me and said "Take them home!" Of course with his rudeness and bluntness, I assumed he was joking and I giggled slightly. Then he said, "No. I'm serious. Take them home." I then told him that most of the bag was actually bedding and he scoffed. I then said, "Do you want me to take my donations elsewhere?" and he replied rudely, "No, I guess I'll take them." I then said, "No, I'll take them elsewhere." He then went into a spiel about being understaffed and having too much inventory. Not my problem. In this situation, the man could have easily said, "Hey, thanks for your donation, but unfortunately we have too much inventory right now. But here's a list of other places to take your donations." Based on the demeanor and rudeness of the man in charge, I would steer clear of this place. Take your donations somewhere else and then he'll be wishing he had too much inventory. read more

NEVER and I mean NEVER go to this place. I had a friend go there and all they did was randomly have a attitude with her for no reason. The person in charge of the facility on the side she was on (Angie) hated her from day one. The messed up part is that my friend did nothing to warrant it. Over the next week Angie threatened to call the cops on her and later called CPS. Telling them complete and total flat out lies. My friend then tried to move to a different shelter in another town. Angie decided she wasn't going to send the shelter the information they needed and wouldn't even talk to them on the phone. The whole time she was saying it was "protocol". This caused my friend to lose her place on the waiting list for that shelter. My friend called the woman in charge of the whole facility. The woman in charge then yelled at all the people who wouldn't give the information to the other shelter. She even looked in the procedures book to check and there was nothing saying that they couldn't give the information to the other shelter when my friend requested it. It actually said the opposite. Anyways NEVER go to this place. The CPS woman that they call is BEST friends with Angie and them so basically whatever Angie says to do she will do. I almost forgot to mention, they have almost NO security there. No locks on the doors so people can just come in and steal your stuff or the person you were trying to get away from can just find out which one you're in and jump the fence. They have security cameras and a cop that whenever he gets a call will be there within a minute IF the person gets seen on one of the cameras. Also there was black mold in the room she was staying in and Angie tried to make her and her kids stay in that room until they fixed it. read more
