The store is packed with clothes, hiking gear, etc., so if you need a rain jacket, hiking shirts or pants, maps, whatever, they have it. A well-stocked friendly place. Highly recommended.

They do have a wide selection - from baseball caps to sun hats, and silly ones too. We got 2 sunsets and one had SPF. They also had big head hat options which was very much appreciated. The lady working there seemed very knowledgeable about hats. Unfortunately it did take a while to check out the people ahead of us as things were a bit slow moving in here. Andrew that turned out to be harder to find around town than expected. Several other shops simply didn't carry Gus crowns at all. At Heritage, not only were there multiple Gus-style options, but they were available in the size we needed, which made the difference immediately. Rich took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, walked us through the options without any pressure, and clearly knows his craft inside and out. The depth of inventory and his experience really show. If you're serious about hats -- especially if you're looking for a specific crown shape or fit -- this is a place worth visiting. The selection and knowledgeable, straightforward service set it apart.

When I asked about the difference, I was told that prices have been going up and are expected to rise again in January. He told me he was waiting to update his website then. That meant the price advertised online wasn't honored, even though it's what brought me into the store in the first place. I ended up driving about 30 minutes each way only to find out the actual price was more than $100 higher than what they publicly posted. I left disappointed and won't be returning. At the very least, the website should reflect current pricing, so customers don't waste their time.
