The fifth time I called, it connected me to a live person, who was able to give me the email address I asked for. Also, I was informed that Blue Coast Cardiology does not have a website. This is fine. However, it should be shared in a simple statement, on search engine sites like google, Facebook and others, that their information, that they do not have a website, and that they have an automated voice front desk. The automated voice, should give the address, and the option to speak with a live person. Their doctors are very good.

They had the nature channel on so sometimes it showed animals attacking each other which was a little unpleasant. The waiting room itself was nice. Dr. Bui was really friendly and kind on the first visit. On the second visit, not so much. She was brutally honest about what she thought about me. On one hand, I could appreciate her honesty, but she was very wrong in her judgment. I had a test done that proved I had a medical problem. She told me that she took back what she said about me. That was really nice of her. On the third and fourth visit, she was better. I don't dislike Dr. Bui as a person, but as a doctor, I think she should have not been so quick to judge. Or at least she could have kept what she thought to herself and let the tests show her what was going on. The second visit was just awkward and felt weird. I would not recommend her to family and friends because I don't think they would like her personality. If she would have said to them what she said to me, they wouldn't have gone back for more testing and treatment. I don't think this doctor is for everyone. You need to be persistent when you know something is wrong despite what the doctor may say.

I'm writing this review because I really hope management will address the communication and phone…read moresystem at this office. This is now the second time I have tried calling the office and have been unable to get anyone to answer the phone. I left a voicemail, but during my previous experience, I did not receive a return call. I understand that medical offices can get very busy and staff may not always be able to answer every call immediately. However, patients should at least be able to expect that their voicemail will be returned within a reasonable amount of time, especially when they are trying to schedule an appointment or communicate with the office. I previously brought this concern to the attention of the receptionist/medical assistant, and they seemed surprised when I explained that I had difficulty reaching anyone by phone. Unfortunately, I am experiencing the same issue again. This is very inconvenient and frustrating, and I believe it deserves attention from management. A cardiology practice handles patients who may have important and sometimes time-sensitive concerns. Having a reliable way to reach the office is an important part of patient care. I hope management reviews how incoming calls and voicemails are being handled and makes improvements. I appreciate the medical care provided by the practice, but communication and accessibility also matter, and this has now become a recurring issue.

Three times in one week an appointment was not recorded correctly by the staff, office location was changed without patient knowledge ahead of time and verification that specialist is actually working in the office on the day an appointment is scheduled. Accidents happen but three errors is one week is a breakdown within the office policy. The office manager maybe would like to look at improvements on scheduling. In addition to flagging those patients who are dementia patients in the system - so that instructions and appts are addressed with the caregiver. The assisting staff is very kind, professional and we love the doctors my family has seen. They are very attentive to their patients.

When I came in for my first office visit, I was 15 minutes early, signed in, sat down and kept my mouth shut while an irate patient berated the clueless girl behind the desk, a flood of patients came in after me, they were all checked in and seen before me. Finally I asked the girl what the problem was, she went back and got someone who told me they don't appreciate it when patients show up late for their appointments and then demand to be seen. I had 4 more office visits, all of which I was 10-15 minutes early for, each time they came to get me exactly 19 minutes late, as if they knew I would walk out at 20 minutes. my last visit, you had a child shave my chest with what I can only assume was a piece of broken glass because the result was horrific and left me scarred. Now you guys are calling my emergency contact to check me in for my Telehealth. wtf? UPDATE: I was writing this review when you were already 30 minutes late for my Telehealth, I had to call in to ask what was going on but was placed on hold for an additional 30 minutes only to be told my Telehealth wasn't happening and then I was made to feel like I was the bad guy and me being upset about this was unreasonable. you people have wasted my time for the last time

I went to North Coast Cardiology for routine surgical clearance and had a very poor experience…read more During the visit, I felt repeatedly pressured to undergo additional testing. For the first test, I was told, "Your insurance will pay for it, so you might as well do it." I agreed based on that representation. A second, much more expensive test was presented in a way that relied heavily on fear and uncertainty. After asking the doctor several times whether it was truly necessary, and finally asking whether he would personally spend $1,000 on it under the same circumstances, he said no, so I declined. Despite that, the office later scheduled me for the test I had declined. Worse, the first test was submitted to insurance in a way that resulted in a denial, and I was billed for the full amount. I have called and emailed Emma in billing multiple times to discuss the charge, but no one has responded. Between the pressure to purchase additional testing, the incorrect scheduling, the unexpected bill, and the complete lack of follow-up, this was an extremely disappointing customer experience. There are many cardiology practices to choose from, so I am sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision.

They even took my mom's blood pressure manually without being asked, knowing the automatic cuff can be uncomfortable.
