I wanted to look more refreshed for another event I had planned earlier in the week and so I decided to go in early for botox. I initially had a positive first impression of this office. The doctor is a family physician who also offers cosmetic treatments like Botox and lasers. I came in specifically for Botox, and although he recommended more units than I usually receive for my crow's feet area, I agreed, trusting his judgment and hoping for good results. He even asked me to return in two weeks for a follow-up touch-up. Unfortunately, within days, I noticed no improvement at all in my crow's feet. I tried calling the office multiple times and received no response. I eventually went in person to have him evaluate the results. When I showed him the issue, he told me "not to smile so hard," which was surprising especially since during my appointment, the medical assistant had encouraged me to smile very hard for photos. At my two-week follow-up, I was expecting a touch-up as discussed. Instead, he recommended doubling the amount of Botox, and when I asked if I would be charged again, he said yes. This was concerning, as I have never needed that much product before, and my regular provider achieves effective results at a much lower cost. While he attempted to justify this with scientific explanations, my experience suggested that technique and anatomical precision, both critical in Botox, may have been lacking, rather than the amount used. What was most disappointing was that after this entire experience, there was no effort to resolve the issue or stand behind the results. Instead, I immediately received a reminder text invitation to a cosmetic event promoting additional services and products. Given the outcome of my treatment, this felt dismissive and a lack of professionalism and patient care. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the results, communication, and handling of concerns. I would not recommend this doctor, especially for cosmetic procedures where experience, technique, and ethical standards are essential.

I had to see her husband once when she was out of town and I found him to be just as caring. I absolutely love that the office is a converted house. It feels so warm and welcoming. Going to the large medical groups feels so sterile and like I am just another patient they have to quickly diagnose and move on. Dr. Etedali is relaxed and easy to talk to even for the more delicate conversations. She is the first doctor I have had that I actually look forward to seeing. I've gone to many doctors and GI specialists for my tummy issues but every doctor just related my stomach problems to stress and poor diet. Now that I'm 31 and STILL dealing with these issues, I decided, just for kicks, I'd let my new doctor, Dr. Wong, know when I was in there recently for a yearly physical exam. When I started discussing my symptoms, he immediately seemed to know what the issue was: a bacterial infection which can cause ulcers - h pylori for short. I'll save you the winded explanation - those interested, simply Google h pylori and you'll get the info. After this assumption from Dr. Wong, I took a simple Urea test that day in the office which took a week to get results, but they were positive for this bacteria. 19 years of doctors, colonoscopies, barium swallows, etc. and nothing led to the answer that Dr. Wong discovered immediately. I am steps away from doing cartwheels right now because I'm so happy! Highly recommend Dr. Wong. He's great and I couldn't speak more highly of him or his staff.

My physical exams seem to be less and less through as the years go by, Not sure if he has his hands tied since Optum took over but the quality of his care has been going down year after year. I go to a doctor for care while not often but depend on my annual physicals. On a positive note Lourdes is very compassionate and caring. She always seems to make me feel special when I visit.

But after reading the other reviews and having several sessions with Dr. Sobel, I can say that the harshness and negativity directed his way are from people who are, at best, taken aback by his rigid and extremely intense demeanor, and, at worst, people who want a psychiatrist to hold their hand and pat their head and tell them that "yeah, that's rough, not sure what we'll do, but keep coming back and giving me money." The latter are, in my personal opinion, people who are not actually interested in recovery or who are so wounded by their mental condition, actual help is practically painful. Dr. Sobel is brusque, particular, exacting, and focused. This intensity is something you will rarely see, personally or professionally. It takes some getting used to, like black coffee or cold showers. If you want a drawn out, indefinite, sob-session, there are many other psychiatrists who you should see instead. If you are willing to work hard, sacrifice, and really try to get better, I can't think of a better doctor than him. He genuinely wants his patients to get better; and if you genuinely want to get better, swallow your pride, listen to what he says, and answer his questions. It's not easy.
