We received outstanding service this morning from Johnathon Brown Electric and their technician…read moreDaniel. When the outlet behind my coffee maker started making alarming noises, we shut off the breaker and called our regular electrician. After two hours with no response, we tried another. Still no reply. Meanwhile, the refrigerator was off too, and we were not about to lose all our food. We turned to Yelp. The reviews looked solid, so we called. They answered right away. A few minutes later, we got a text saying Daniel was on his way and would arrive in 16 minutes. And he did. We described the issue, he inspected the outlet, and removed the cover. The receptacle was cracked in five places, with melted and burned plastic. It was a dangerous mess that could have turned into a serious problem. Daniel replaced it, flipped the breaker, and everything came back to life. No more crackling. Coffee maker working. Fridge humming again. We are very happy with the service and have added Johnathon Brown Electric to our go-to list. If we have another electrical issue, they will be our first call. This fan was originally supposed to be installed by the contractors from Lowe's. Due to a LOT of miscommunication and taking over 6 weeks for a refund on Lowe's service fees, I started looking elsewhere for installation services. Definitely recommend (they charged less than Lowe's and did an amazing job)! I asked about a garage lighting project and they are currently working on the estimate for a this proposed lighting upgrade (from basically nonexistent) in our garage.

They walked me through some steps and suggested there must be a GFI switch that controlled the outlets, but none of the outlets appeared to be GFI. They stayed on the phone while I flipped breakers again, but that still didn't get the outlets to work. They said it would likely be expensive to send someone all the way to Port St Lucie from West Palm but they would give me an estimate to help me decide. All in all, we were on the phone about 10 minutes. I was about to text them my address so they could figure out the distance and determine costs, and decided to look at the outlets one more time. Turns out, the previous owners had painted the outlet plates, so I had to look closely to see that one of them actually was a GFI. After resetting that, everything worked fine. I really appreciated the time Power Pro spent with me on the phone. Even though I was outside of their usual service area, they didn't just blow me off as some contractors have done. Now I wish I did live closer to them, as I would definitely use them in the future.

I received great service from ARC Electric and would recommend to anyone looking for an electrician. They showed up promptly around 8am as it was an all-day job. Crew was great (1 project manager and 2 technicians). They all had a clean appearance and professional. Cleaned up all messes from the new light/fan additions and made sure I was aware of any enhancements / minimal changes that had to be done with work order. The wall punch outs for electrical access were minimal and put back in place were I can easily patch walls and repaint. Would definitely use their services again for any future electrical needs.

Very disappointed. My general contractor used ARC. The ARC estimator, Billy, came by. Both the…read morecontractor and I were present. We gave Billy the written diagram, with all the electric written in: 110v sockets, ceiling 110v sockets and most importantly the 220v sockets I needed in two locations. The basement was just studs and three walls that had sheet rock. One of the three was only sheet rocked on one side. Ideal for any electrician as they can simply place sockets & run wiring between the studs. Two of the 220v sockets HAD TO BE PLACED LOW ON THE LEFT WALL. This was emphasized to Billy. Billy, with much bluster and officiousness marked bold black lines on the plan verbally showing how they would link certain connections and where the lighting would go. I did not have much confidence in his show, but he had the written plan and Billy ensured the contractor and I that he understood. Two really nice and competent electricians came by in a couple of weeks and got the wiring in. IT WAS NOT CORRECT. Billy had not given them a copy of the plan so they just put the sockets, switches and wires where they thought they would go. My contractor was as aghast as I was and said he would take care of it. Meanwhile, the sheet rock crew came in, as they were on schedule and got the walls covered. A great job, but now the ARC electricians, would have to cut through dry wall and "fish" wires across the ceiling and some walls. More work. It took about three weeks for them to come back. And although they did a good job and were nice guys, THEY STILL DID NOT GET THE 220V SOCKETS IN THE CORRECT WALL. They were on the opposite wall and the piece of equipment I would be using had to be along the left wall. Almost a month passed. Plumbing was in and counters and shelving was going up. So nearly seven weeks from Billy's estimate, another two electricians covered the wrong socket holes, cut new ones on the correct wall and ARC was finished with their nearly $5000 job. We lost over two months and it took three returns to get the work right. Billy the estimator never gave them a plan. What folly. The electricians and their work was excellent. And the four I met were nice guys and worked seriously and professionally. They were competent. Wish I could say the same about Billy. I have some other work with the contractor and will insist that he NOT use ARC. They were expensive and the fruit of their excellent work was poisoned by the seed planted by Billy the estimator. I hope you don't get Billy if you do choose to use ARC.
