There is a parking garage conviently located on the first floor of the building. There is also paid street parking right on the street. If you're to able to do some walking from farther away, you can park on the other side of Ashby and find a free 2 hour space in the neighborhood. There is a 3% service fee for paying by creditcard but that can be avoided by paying in cash or sending money to them through Zelle.

The dentist said it was time, at last. And it was feeling funky. Office staff were great, Dr Nealon explained what was going to happen at the consult with no sense of upselling; and during the procedure he exuded a casual professionalism and confidence as things progressed. His help was on top of things too. There was some pain for about 18hrs after, nothing that some high doses of IB couldn't handle. He even came in on a weekend to deal with a time-dependent touch up. Within a couple days everything seems back to normal. There are definitely things worse than a root canal.

I was VERY nervous and VERY scared when I heard I needed a root canal, but I was in so much pain,…read morethat I knew what had to be done: face my fear of having tiny barbed wires stuck into my sensitive tooth to clean out all the decay. Luckily, my knowledge of root canals was based on what dentists did in the 70s and my procedure was neither scary, painful, or traumatic. It was no different from having a filling or a crown. There was no pain at all and my anxiety melted away as soon as we begun. Dr. Kathpalia and team were very understanding about my nervous nature and went out of their way to make me feel calm and comfortable. The tools and equipment were all modern. There were no implements of torture or ancient relics in the office. The only pain I felt was in the other side of my jaw from holding my mouth open for an hour and a half (and of course when my dental insurance covered a generous 3% of the total cost). Endospecialists even has their own gated parking lot, which is a really nice touch. This was a referral from my own dentist, but I would recommend anyone needing a root canal to give them a call for a consultation. They were able to fit me in the day after I called, so I didn't have to worry about the appointment for weeks or deal with the constant pain. Thank you Dr. K and team!

They explained everything clearly, from the procedure to the cost and insurance and I didn't feel a thing! Dr O'Callaghan was very thorough, and it didn't even feel like I was in the chair for long. I was a little tender afterward, but Advil and Tylenol have been helping. Now I'm all set and scheduled for my new crown! This is the best team! I highly recommend them.

He does run an efficient practice, have very good technique and have a bias towards not doing unnecessary procedures, which is good.

She drew the short straw(!) and did teeth cleaning for my very nervous 9 year old - and did a great job of reassuring him, as well as producing really clean teeth. He and his associates were in a relatively old building on Telegraph near Derby. They moved recently to the medical building at the corner of Telegraph and Oregon, which was renovated a year or two ago. The new offices of Berkeley Endodontics look great -- nice shiny surfaces and equipment that looks to be state-of-the-art. (I was impressed by the digital "X-Rays" that they took of my teeth and the subsequent manipulation of the images on the computer.) This person exudes competence and has a good chair-side manner. If I needed a root canal and was faced with a choice between a general dentist and this specialist, I'd definitely go with the specialist.
