Dr. Gorman was perfect. He had great "bedside manner" gently communicating, asking my permission to…read morebe touched, explaining things well. He had an old xray machine in his office hallway so I didn't have to go out for xrays and come back for another visit, and he didn't charge much for the xray. He showed me the xray, and made drawings on paper to show me exactly what was happening with my foot. He gave me four options for treatment, from less involved to more involved. I think I will go ahead and get surgery from him, I trust him and feel he knows his stuff. He is a slim man with some gray in his wavy hair, probably in his 50s. He mentioned his wife and kids as examples of foot situations, which I like to hear, to know he is a real person with a family.. He is a runner, like me, and had good advice for what kind of running is good and not so good for my condition, what kind of shoes, what kind of exercise I can do during my recovery. Oh, one more thing: he recommended orthotics but he did not try to upsell me any, he sent me to Summit Hut to get mine. Isn't that genuine? The staff management was average. I did not like being asked my SSN and the SSN of my wife and dependents on the form... The physicians assistant Diane was very good and patiently explained the forms, costs and so forth. Every person I had the pleasure of talking to on his staff were super friendly, super helpful, and just overall awesome! Dr. Senese himself was personable, knowledgable, and very helpful. He explained to me everything he saw on my x-ray and helped me to understand what was going on. He listened to and addressed all of my concerns, and came up with a great game plan to help treat me. So far, so good. It is also important for me to note how much I appreciate that he is in his own practice, and not a giant group. The giant groups are miserable to deal with, from trying to get them on the phone to make an appointment, to the wait in the office for said appointment. This didn't happen here. You don't go through menus to talk to someone. The woman that answers the phone can help you with everything you need, short of actually talking to the doctor. The wait time in the office was only a few minutes, and I was early to my appointment. He was on time had I not been early. I was seen by the doctor within 5 minutes of having my vitals taken and issues written down by the nurse. Based on this first visit, I would recommend Dr. Senese to anyone!

Came here after letting a few months of foot pain go too long untreated. I suspected it was…read moreprobably plantar fasciitis but unfortunately had let it get to the point where all I could do was kind of hobble around. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, within a few days with Dr. Carrie Hess. Upon arriving the staff were quick to help me check in and were very friendly as I waited for the doctor. Doctor Hess pretty immediately let me know it was most likely plantar fasciitis because of the area where I was experiencing the pain. She did offer to take x-rays to confirm it wasn't anything else but they can't really see much on the x-ray besides a bone spur, which was actually kind of interesting to find out. She suggested a steroid shot and we were able to do it that day pretty quickly. It wasn't too painful but there was a little pinch. I was a little surprised she didn't give me more in terms of a treatment plan, but I think that she may have just expected that I kind of knew what to do after. She did say, if the pain reoccurs to return but I wasn't really sure what to do to prevent this from happening again. Luckily, I haven't had much pain. The morning after was the first time in months I'd woken up and not had to hobble around my house in pain. Thank you!
