From the time you walk in, your person stays with you to the end and see through your spa experience. We had Abraham as our guide and were there for hydrotherapy, which I have never done. We first were directed to some of the most luxurious locker rooms I've seen and change out into their provided bathrobes and slippers. We then walked down this beautiful walkway into the hydrotherapy area. We began our experience with the sauna, which included cucumbers on eyes with a cooling rag on your head. Then came a shower. They give you 4 options, all are private showers with closing doors. I chose the one with the cold water bucket (it's literally a bucket that you stand under and pull a chain). Then came the steam room for a little over 5 minutes, followed y the cold plunge! After that freezing experience comes the massage pool, where you sit in warm water and have water jets massage you lower back. Finally came the big pool. The pool itself is pretty huge in size and has a waterfall spout you can stand under, water jets massage platforms in the pool, and water jets for your lower bag. My personal favorite was the two spouts that are shooting out water at a higher pressure as this really helped massage my neck, shoulders, and chest. Overall, I give this experience a 11/10. I definitely recommend the hydrotherapy spa experience if you're staying in Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

I am a business owner my self and one of the things that i came to find out, is that customer relations it is very important. This place works of schedules and you will need to call in advance. Try to call at least the day before if not two days in advance, they are busy. Will definitely visit this place next time i am in Cancun.

Staying at this resort was such a terrible experience that it has made me hesitant to ever travel…read moreto Mexico again. What should have been a relaxing vacation became a traveler's nightmare. The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. The food and service were abysmal. I was hungry throughout much of our stay because obtaining food was surprisingly difficult, aside from what was available at the cafeteria and the very limited room service options. Making restaurant reservations was impossible. We also could not enjoy the hot tub in our suite because the smell outside was unbearable. A significant amount of sargassum had accumulated against the buoys near the pool and remained there throughout our stay. The odor made spending time outside extremely unpleasant and essentially rendered one of the amenities we specifically paid for unusable. The most disturbing part of the experience, however, involved the salon. Prior to arriving, I made multiple attempts by email to schedule and confirm a salon appointment. Despite the repeated correspondence, I arrived at the resort without a confirmed appointment and ultimately received no salon services whatsoever. Despite this, at checkout I discovered that I had been charged for salon services I never received. I explained the situation and showed the staff the email correspondence demonstrating my attempts to confirm an appointment. Nevertheless, I was told that I had to pay the charge before I would be permitted to leave the resort. Faced with that situation, I paid the disputed charge under protest so that I could leave. After returning home, I contacted the salon and explained what had happened. They apologized profusely, acknowledged the situation, and promised to refund the charge. I have that commitment in writing. More than 30 days passed without a refund, and my subsequent inquiries went unanswered. I ultimately had no choice but to dispute the charge through my credit card company. A beautiful property cannot compensate for terrible service, difficulty obtaining food, unusable amenities, and most importantly, being forced to pay for services that were never provided. This experience completely overshadowed our vacation and destroyed any confidence I had in this resort. I would not return, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

I highly recommend getting a massage on the beach. The steam room and sauna you can take in before or after your service. The spa attendants are very prompt and helpful. I would not recommend a facial, there is a substantial amount of fragrance in the products, and there is no steam or extractions. It's not a natural type of fragrance you might find in Aesop or Aveda products. It smells more like candy. My rosacea came back with vengeance afterward. I got a pedicure, it was okay. Not worth $70. The massage therapists do all the treatments, massage, facial, and pedicure. This is not something I'm used to, especially for a spa environment. I prefer to see someone that has a speciality and mastered that specialty. There was a a lot of confidence with the massages but I could tell the different therapists I had were not "confident" in doing the other services.

After the clay dried you walk a short distance to a shower with a hose and some cold water and they rub/rinse off the clay. About 30 mins in total. After the rinse they have a nice warm tub ready for you with herbs and fragrances. Super enjoyable after the cold rinse. While in the tub they give you a neck and scalp massage. About 20-25 mins. Following the tub you move back to the bed and one of the ladies gives you a front massage while moving the towel around to cover you from the cool jungle breeze. The massage is done with oil and was so well done. You flip after an hour to your stomach and they work your feet to your head the same as the front massage. I would rated the quality of this massage among the best I've ever had. High quality. Well trained hands. And very respectful. 10/10 I'll be back here next time I visit!

As well as it being right on the beach. It was about a 10 minute walk on the sand from GR Solaris going upwards in the hotel zone. Their sign is hard to miss, Olas Marina Massage. They say they do different types of massages. From reflexology, to deep tissue, to sports, to aromatherapy to other massages as well. It's a small little venture here with 3 tables and 2 masseuse. The girl was good, massaging my back, legs, feet, neck, face, chest and head all within the hour. I asked for a deep massage, and wish it was a little deeper actually to get to all those aching tired muscles. But you can't beat the location. Right there steps from the water. You can hear the waves crashing. The birds chirping. The smell of the ocean and the refreshing breeze of being beach front. Places back in the states would charge an arm and a leg for such prime location. Besides the location, I love the pricing, and how it's negotiable depending on how many people you bring here. They are set up monday thru sunday during normal business hours. I would highly recommend getting a massage from them as its a rare opportunity to receive a massage right on the beach. The lady too was pleasant and accomadating which makes it nicer. No funny business here. But she was able to locate and fix many if my knots in my back, which my back appreciates. I do wish they accept card but they only take cash. I will definitely be back again as this place offers the ultimate idea of relaxation during your Cancun getaway!!!
