And 80 minute Deep Tissue or Hot Stone massage for $100 is a steal. My resort was charging literally triple and both massages we got were over the top. Yesterday as I left the resort grounds for the first time, as I awaiting my taxi-- the staff here relentlessly attempted to get us to come over and get massages. When I returned to the hotel, I decided to give it a shot. I opted for 50 minute Swedish massage for $50 dollars. In an attempt to "sweeten the deal" they added an extra ten minutes. The place was decent-- not fancy, not run-down, but totally in the middle. The massage was good, I wish a lot more pressure was used but I was still satisfied. My hotel was just right around the corner, and I called to make a same-day appointment, which I was happy that they could accommodate. It seemed like they didn't 100% have my appointment logged when I got there, but the friendly guy at the front desk offered me a free fish pedicure (it was actually free, not a ploy for additional money) which I enjoyed. I also noticed that they had good cleaning procedures around the fish pedicure, which is important. I'm fine with the fish, but if your feet are super ticklish, that might not be the experience for you! My deep tissue massage was well-priced and the masseuse used a good amount of pressure. I went in one night to get a pedicure and she had to file off the gel topcoat on my nails (instead of soaking them because she seemed to be in a hurry). during this she kept filing the skin on my toes. i mentioned it to her and she brushed it off. now 6 of my toes have had extremely painful sores on them and it has been 3 weeks since this occurred. i would definitely not recommend going here for a pedicure at all. read more

Well, I trusted her word and went with another woman I met. She booked us both appointments at the same time. I think there was some miscommunication but we had our massages in the same room. It's was a little weird getting naked in front of a stranger but we made it work. When I say this massage was amazing! She couldn't have done a better job. I just walked into the location nearby the Ritz Carlton where I am staying and there is one lady in there who is so rude. We were getting ready to sit down and we were politely asking about the fish pedicure as we noticed it when we walked in. This lady starts raising her voice in an aggressive manner and when I said I am no longer interested in any services she mockingly in a child's voice says "ok byeeeee". If the business owner reads this, I want to tell you that employee lost you a couple hundred dollars because we not only were planning on getting pedicures but were also interested in massages. Goes to show bad employees are detrimental to business owners, we are business owners ourselves and understand the importance in maintaining positive customer relations. The rest of the staff was at least respectful, the English speaking lady was the only one who had an attitude problem and was completely wrong for how she spoke to us because absolutely nothing warranted the attitude we received. They were both so attentive, made sure that their pressure was good enough for us, and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Pros: the lady was nice at the front desk and they spoke English! They were able to accommodate us with a couples Swedish massage for 80 minutes with appointments made only 30 minutes in advance. The place was in the hotel zone in a strip mall complex and the taxi found it easily. The spa, salon was clean and promising at $1/minute. The doubles massage room was spacious and nicely decorated. They give you large bins to put your belongings in. The table wasn't the most comfortable and the sheet was thin. I wish it covered the massage table better cause when you turned, I felt like the sheet moves off and you're left on the plastic table or face rest. Cons: The massage itself was just mediocre. I felt like they were just lightly touching me and I'm not paying $80 to be touched. I wanted a massage with deeper pressure. The ladies made a huge deal when I asked for more pressure and said I needed to pay extra for the deep tissue. Ok.. I've gotten a ton of massages before and when does the pressure have to do with the type of massage? Swedish massage is about the fluid strokes and motions and it was totally legit to ask for more than light pressure. I know the difference between a Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage thank you. If you don't want to put some pressure into it and work, don't be a masseuse. I left there wanting more cause my knots weren't worked out and I didn't feel like it relieved any stress. I would pay more just to feel like I got a massage when I was done. I wouldn't come back to this place. I left all greasy from the massage oil, especially in my hair and not feeling like I got a good decent massage - just $160 lighter. They do try to do some aromatherapy though and I think the lady was pissed I asked for more pressure, she tried to push harder a few times and the bed made a cracking noise. Not relaxing. I had the best massage here with Carolina! This spot was conveniently located right by the Ritz Carlton so I was able to walk there from the hotel. I received multiple treatments while I was on my vacation and they were all done by Carolina. She applied the right amount of pressure during my massages. I'm ticklish so it's tough to balance to make sure it's not too light and not too firm because too much of one will put me in a giggling fit. I got the holistic for 80 minutes and it was pure Heaven! I tried to stay awake for the majority of it so that I can fully appreciate the massage but she had me knocked out a few minutes in.
