They have a decent selection of guys' stuff, which is cool because a lot of places I went to cater more towards women. The person that helped me was a guy named Paul - he was really great in helping me find not only a pair of glasses but a cool pair of sun glasses as well. Getting glasses can be a little stressful since it's not something you really do all that often, but Paul was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions quickly. I'm very happy with both pair of specs I got and I would definitely recommend going here if you are in the area.

Extremely Disappointing After 10 Years…read more I've been a customer of Pro Optical for nearly a decade, but this latest experience was unacceptable and ended any future business with them. Despite my insurance covering services, I was billed extra fees just to receive a prescription and for services clearly marked as included. I ordered glasses and specifically requested they use my current prescription. The doctor had provided a placeholder for a stronger option, but I told the associate I did not want to use that for at least one pair. They ignored my request and ordered the glasses with the stronger prescription anyway. My wife returned the glasses on my behalf and explained the mistake. They dismissed her and insisted the order was correct. I couldn't get there myself without taking time off work, so I waited until my next appointment. When I explained the issue in person, I was told flatly: "That's your problem." I was stunned. No accountability. No apology. No interest in fixing their error. This business prioritizes billing over patient care. After 10 years, they showed no regard for loyalty or basic customer service. Avoid Pro Optical and take your business somewhere that values its patients.

It counts as a social interaction! I've had Medicare Advantage plans from Aetna, Harvard and Tufts. If no one is waiting in the queue (rare) you can stay on the line and relax. The reps are human and relaxed in their home. Alas for 2026 they discontinued OTC and gym benefits for my plan. I was shocked when the rep says she makes it a point to tell people this - I had asked if she was getting a lot of calls about it. Another time I called to wonder why a prescription I had in the past had a jump in cost and the rep recommended GoodRx and looked up the GoodRX price while we were on the phone.

It is not like your traditional PT place. They use a different technique, biosynchronistics. I can't really explain it but check out their website for sure. I did have to make my appointment far in advance and I do have to drive an hour there but believe me it is so worth it. I had my pain under control through acupuncture (read review!) by the time my appointments started but knew I had to correct my posture and how I carried my body. AMAZING!
