If you press on REVIEWS NOT RECOMMENDED at the bottom of the review section, you will see so many great reviews. Why the bad reviews are the only ones being publicized is ridiculous! My son has been going to Huntington for many years, from grade school until present. He is now preparing for ACT/SAT. Melissa, the owner, is down to earth, honest, passionate, and by all means, she completely cares about the students in the program. Yes, it is expensive, but our experience is overwhelmingly positive. Our personal experiences: * My son always comes home feeling more confident and really does like attending. * He has never once complained about any of the teachers, although he has his favorites! * The staff is always available to answer any questions or address concerns. * Once in High School, I insisted that my son schedule his own study sessions, to teach him responsibility and autonomy. I imagine it was a bit of a headache for the staff at first, but they never once complained and supported my philosophy. * Over the years, my son's organization, attitude and study skills improved to the point that he now uses Huntington 'as needed' when he finds himself struggling in a class. He also attends weekly for college prep study. *The staff will even meet with your child's teachers to make sure that all those involved are working together for a common plan.
