March 2023: Emmanuel Episcopal Day School is by far the best choice we have made for our…read moredaughter's childcare and education so far. She enjoys every minute of lessons and doesn't stop talking about the activities and the friends she's made she comes home with arts and crafts that rival high schoolers. They have our daughter excited about second languages (Spanish), chapel, computer fundamentals, sign language and so much more! The teachers are very communicative and are really partners in the children's care and education, the center is clean and well-kept and the location is conveniently located. The rates are extremely affordable and honestly UNDERpriced in our experience. If you are looking for preschool, pre-k, or childcare in Virginia Beach, this is THE BEST program by far. We are so happy with EEDS, that we have begged for them to extend their programs into summer and into Kindergarten so our daughter can spend more time with them. Luckily, they are offering a few different summer camps and she will attend all of them!

When the VA tutoring grant came out, sylvan of Chesapeake reached out to us to let us know about it with detailed instructions on how to sign up! He has been doing tutoring for a few weeks now and we are already seeing big improvements in his reading. He enjoys going and is excited each morning when we are headed there. He treats the staff like crap which is why they are all quieting. The teachers are ok but I don't think it's as clean as they claim as my child always had some bug.
