We are very happy with all of the teachers who are preparing our son for the sat test. So thankful to have this school here in Chesapeake.

Zero stars but you have to put at least one in to leave a review. Horrible business. Asked us to…read morebring in our 4 year old to see if he'd even be old enough for private tutoring. They evaluated him for a few minutes and said he'd do great in the program. We decided to go with another tutoring company and they completely changed their tune. They keep sending invoices for private tutoring sessions we never had. The nonstop calls, texts and emails are quite frankly harassment at this point. Stay far away from this place as they are only trying to get your money. Such a horrible experience and still having to deal with them years later. Getting our lawyer involved now. Stay away!!

A couple years ago, we had Educational Services come every week to teach Spanish to our little ones for 6-8 weeks. Basically, they kept a flyer and registration information at our preschool for months prior to starting at the beginning of the school year. We had around 5 children (ages 3-4) registered. The lady teaching the class ( I will not disclose her name) was very nice. She seemed to know adequate Spanish, but as a preschool teacher for well over 15 years, I believe she could have done a better job bringing materials to the class and using tools such as music to help teach the children their Spanish words. Also, I am not fluent in Spanish, however, I do know an adequate amount of Spanish (body parts, colors, numbers, etc) to teach the children (which I do at our own facility) that I feel she could have taught them more than she did. She also cancelled class numerous times (one time without giving us notice) and had to make up the classes by adding on to each class, which did not go over so well since the attention span of 3-4 year olds are very low. I know this review is a bit detailed. This is the case because not only am I a preschool teacher at this facility, I was also a parent to one of the children enrolled and so I have opinions from both sides. $40/month for 30 min/week for 8 weeks was just not worth it to me.

Parent pick up is always a breeze. Love the organization and the attention to detail from the staff…read more Education at this school is top notch... they even have their own farm with animals to teach the littles. Love it

I am disappointed with how this daycare/school handled my child's potty accident…read more I fully understand that we have responsibility as parents to provide extra clothes, and I can acknowledge that we should have had backup clothes available. That part is on us. However, young children have accidents, especially when they are adjusting to a new environment, and I was shocked by how the situation was handled. I received a call telling me that my child had an accident and that I needed to bring shorts or pants because they were currently only in their shirt. I was also told that if I could not bring clothes, my child would remain without pants. That is the part I cannot accept. A childcare facility should still have a basic contingency plan for situations like this. No child should be left exposed, embarrassed, or without proper clothing because there are no backup options available. Even when a parent forgets something, the child's dignity and comfort should remain the priority. What makes this even more concerning is that since starting at this school, my child's confidence and self-esteem seem to have changed. They have started saying things like, "I don't use my listening ears. I never do," and "I'm a bad kid." As a parent, that is heartbreaking to hear. Children should be corrected and redirected with patience and care, not in a way that makes them internalize shame or feel like they are bad. A potty accident should be handled privately, calmly, and respectfully. It should never become something that adds to a child's embarrassment or affects how they see themselves. As a parent, it was incredibly stressful to receive that call and feel like my child's dignity was not being protected. I hope the school reviews its policy on potty accidents, backup clothing, and how children are spoken to when they are struggling or adjusting.

As soon as you walk in, you will see several shelving units of many ceramic projects of all different themes and sizes on the left, with tables in the middle and right side and cash out desk in the back corner. If you walk down the passage a little bit, it'll lead you to the paint area. I didn't walk all the way back, but I am assuming that leads to the party rooms as several people were led back there during our visit. The kids picked their projects and then one of their staff members, led them to the paint bar and explained the different kinds of paints and gave them some tips on how to use the paint and tools. Things to note: - You pay a studio fee plus the cost of the item (most things have price tags on the bottom of the item) - they claim to be the only open paint bar in the area. They let you use as much paint as you want, so be mindful and don't be wasteful - they have some options for drinks and snacks, although very limited, but I guess this can come in handy if you end up being there for awhile and get carried away with painting (drinks and snacks were very inexpensive) - you must go back at a later date to pick up the projects, so they can fire them up and glaze them. - they also have non-ceramic items for you to paint like canvas and wood The turnaround was very quick! Not sure if it was a slower time or if it's because we didn't have that many people in our party, but the items were ready in just a few days! I was so surprised when they called. Underpromise and overdeliver is always a smart business practice. Great place to pass the time and "make" something of your own. Stay safe, Friends!
