I have zero complaints about this school. Ms. Amanda is my son's teacher, she is wonderful. My…read moreson has attended this school for almost two years. It's very clean and they seem very good about communicating in general.

MAV was a great experience for our daughter's first year in a school setting. We are so proud of…read moreher and how much she's learned since joining MAV. We are so happy we chose them. We love the Montessori approach and feel that it helps children develop very comfortably at their own pace. All of the teachers, TA's, and administrative staff have been easy to communicate with and helped us with any concerns over the year. Being that it was her first year, I admit that I did have a lot of questions, but the staff was understanding and as the weeks went on, I felt more and more comfortable that she was safe and well taken care of and she became very comfortable with her teachers, as well as her peers. I saw how much she learned just after two months. The schedules work and have helped her thrive academically and socially. I can see her problem-solving skills have really developed, as well as her thinking. The monthly newsletters kept us informed throughout the year. The school programs are all fun to attend and see the children work together, and also see their individual personalities shine. I feel that the facility is very clean and that she's picked up some good habits over the year. She's also made some good friends with her peers and learned good manners. We love hearing about her day, her lessons, and activities when we pick her up. The pick-up and drop-off system works fairly quickly. We also love that they do STEM, art projects to bring home, gym, outdoor activities, and trips to the farm. It's a great facility and we do love the diverse staff, who are all friendly and helpful. We have enrolled her next year and can't wait to see how much more she learns and grows over the next few years with MAV.

The owner Donna is extremely rude and condescending. Doesn't take the time to explain anything and…read morethen cops an attitude when you ask for clarification and explain that something on your form wasn't an issue at TWO other schools. My child's doctor forgot to sign one sheet of an 8 page packet, and even though I had multiple additional documentation, she wouldn't accept it. I explained it hasn't been an issue with other schools before and SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT ME and told me that I could find another school then. So I took my check back and did! They rent a few rooms from a church and have no playground equipment. Just a grass patch. Babies, toddlers, and preschool kids are all in one room. They don't serve food despite the cost and they won't heat up food for your child either. Avoid if anything for how comfortable the owner is with disrespecting a parent.

Every day my son comes home and tells me how much he enjoyed his day and played with friends. The school communicates clearly and often about how he is doing in school, the school's schedule, and photos of all of the fun they have every day. More personally, the school is amazingly flexible in working with my (VERY energetic) child to make sure that he is adequately stimulated. I can tell how much they love on him - he's always so excited to go back to "his school." To respond to another review, no, the school does not provide snacks or lunch, however, that in my experience that is not unusual - many programs (both church-based and not) do not provide food and ask that you send food that either 1) doesn't need to be warmed up or 2) in a thermos that will stay warm. The school's cost is very reasonable, especially for the love, care, and attention that is lavished on the children. If you want a preschool that supports your children, loves on them, and encourages them to grow into their best self, then NPA is a great place for them to be.

do not enroll your kids here!!! you do not want to waste your time with this child care facility!…read morethe staff are wonderful. wonderful environment, safe for the most part aside from their own past issues regarding relationships in the church. (google the church) the problem is dependability! this daycare closes to often and routinely based off the public school system!!! if thier closed the daycare school is closed. mind you if its a slight weather condition. (closed) the slightest instance boom, closed! multiple other prominent daycare facilities are open. check for yourself! for the average business professional, every day family, your inconvenienced regularly! absurd is a understatement! if you need dependability, reliability so you can manage your professional life this is not the daycare you want to enroll your children in!!! they will close and delay opening routinely!!! do not take my word for it ask other parents. the sentiment is across the board!!! choose another school you'll be doing yourself a huge favor!!! majority of parents bring their kids to the school themselves!! so why the constant closures?!?! what liability?" is there? the church doesn't seem to recognize the concerns of its clients (parents/children)! #seepic

The classes with Mrs. Margaryta were intense in a way ... no talking .... pay attention... sleeping beauties.... hurry up.....but I grew up in similar environment around sports so I gave it a try for my daughter. I noticed though my daughter enjoyed way more classes with Margaryta's husband as sometimes he substituted for her. He was making it more fun. Kids overall had more fun with him during class. My daughter is a hardworking little girl. She listens and tries her best. But she is also sensitive to being pushed too hard because she gets frustrated with herself. It was over for me when she cried during a class over one exercise and on top of things she was sent again in the end of the class to work on the same exercise by herself! It was nice when her husband stepped in and helped her but we never went back after that. I feel like working with the kids you should be able recognize when the child is pushed too far. They are only 6 yo and it all should be combine with a little fun so they want to go back. She didn't and I have a hard time talking her into a new place . We moved and finally she will give it a try. Fingers crossed this time she will have an awesome experience. To the response : I understand my daughter sometimes needs some pushing but I don't agree with leaving her alone crying on the mat doing her best.
