Had to leave a review after Spring Break camp this week. It was our first time attending camp at the Sunset location, and my child had so much fun that he is already asking to sign up for Summer Camp! We really appreciate how the team thoughtfully incorporated learning, fun, and movement throughout the day. The balance of academic activities, games, and hands-on challenges kept my child engaged while still reinforcing important skills. The themed days throughout the week added variety and excitement, giving him something new to look forward to each day and helping maintain their interest. It was great to see an environment where learning felt enjoyable and interactive rather than overwhelming. Thank you for creating such a positive and engaging experience for the kids! I have always walked by the Mathnasium Center every time I do laundry as the laundry mat is next door. I'm happy I finally decided to walk in and hear about the program as I have a daughter who is in the 8th grade who has been struggling with Math since middle school started. We have tried private tutors but she did not seem to be a fan of the tutor so my husband and I decided to give Mathnasium a try and she loves it! The instructors are friendly and they work really well with her. She learns while having fun, its great! Also, It is convenient for us, we can do laundry while she is in session to keep her busy, it is a win win. read more

As a student at Mathnasium in the Sunset, I really enjoy all the help that I get with certain aspects of math. I have never been a huge fan of math and I was really far behind because of Covid and not so good teachers, but Mathnasium really helped/is helping me out. Jessica and her staff are amazing at explaining problems and making math much more enjoyable. The fact that you can get snacks and other prizes from doing math definitely helps motivate us to actually get the work done. Sharing my experience from my first interaction with the Center Director, Jessica to now. It was during the SFUSD strike my husband and I were stressing about our child not being in school and we had work. We were referred to Mathnasium in the Sunset by a friend, I reached out, Jessica was so helpful and eased our stressed. I told my mom I needed help with math because my grade was dropping in class, I wasn't understanding the teacher's teaching style, and it was affecting my overall GPA. We heard about Mathnasium and decided to give it a try and I am glad we did because the instructors are great, they help me with homework and thoroughly explain step by step to help me understand the concepts. I started taking my daughter to this Mathnasium five months ago (first three months online and last two months in person) and she loves it! My daughter always talks about how she wants to go here everyday because of how much fun she is having. The staff are always so sweet and accommodating and really focus on making math fun for the kids. They plays lots of math games and win prizes which really motivates the kids. My daughter has been studying at this center since the day it started. She is currently ahead in her math, in her school district, by 3 years. She was mainly taught by Richard and Largo, who are amazing instructors. The center director Jessica, is super nice and will help handle all scheduling and logistics. My daughter is in love with the rewards cabinet and this definitely keeps her motivated to stay working so that she can collect more cards and hence more rewards. read more

Since bringing my daughter here I have seen such a change in her confidence level which had been reflective in her grades. I've seen such an improvement overall! She's also very much driven by rewards which encourages her to work harder. Every time she leaves the center she talks about all the different rewards she wants to win. Going to mathnasium has been super helpful. While the work I do there isn't what i'm learning at school, they seem to get were Im actually at academically . They're also very helpful with test prep. They make sure you understand the topic and the teachers there are super helpful. They explain throughly and make sure you understand the topic. So far my experience with them has been amazing and i'm excited to see what it has in store for the future! read more

I love all the instructors here, and so does my child! We started coming here when they opened their in center instruction, and the quality of instruction has stayed at maximum quality! There's also two cabinets of rewards that many kids (including mine) enjoy (She currently has her eyes on a box of slime). They are also doing an ice cream week this week and my child has been super excited to go back and get some ice cream. read more

It's very important to have engaging curriculum for the older children. I love how this center has established it so well. Its clean , relaxing and follows all covid protocols. Owner Shruti has excellent Staff in her program. They are warm and meet the child at their level. This mathnasium is pretty new and small so instructor to student ratio is relatively small compared to other mathnasium's I've been to. My son seems to like going there and always talks about the different prizes he wants to get. Overall, I see more confidence in him when it comes to math and have noticed a difference in his grades. The owners are always so sweet and always offer me tea and cookies! I highly recommend!! read more

Very pleased with our children's improvement since we've joined the Mathnasium program. The kids find the center fun which is amazing because they enjoy Math. It does not getting any better than this, when my kids are having fun and learning at the same time!! Our child joined the Summer Camp at Mathnasium of Sunset this past summer, and he absolutely loved it! I had an amazing tutor that was the prime example of "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." My tutor and the tutors here really stress to teach people ways to learn rather than to give them straight up answers. I would recommend this camp to anyone! read more
