Tammy is so knowledgeable about academia and how to navigate to find the best school and learning environment for each child to be a successful student regardless of age! From a parent that has used her in many different aspects, Tammy is not only intelligent but children love her! Children tend to gravitate toward her, she really has a way of getting through to each child. She is a God send for parents to help them determine what is best for their child and also become a liaison between parent and school administration. Since she has so many years of experience from not only a teaching aspect but from the administration side of education, she is the perfect person to help guide not only the child and child's family she is trying to help, but the school or administration side to work together for the betterment of both the child's success and the success of the school. In the end it is a "Win Win" for both sides involved! Katie is such an understanding and compassionate person, who loves children. Since Katie's background and degrees are in education with special emphasis in special education, this allows her a special patience and understanding when dealing with children. I feel she has a unique way of explaining and instructing children that they really respond too. She has been helping tutor our son for several years now and has help him achieve success in all his academic studies. She has also help him with organizational and test taking skills. But even with all of that, my son just loves to share his thoughts and successes with Katie. She has help him want to push to be a better student and person. She has become like one of the family.
