Specialties
Applying to college isn't the same as it was 20+ years ago, when parents were applying. How can you make the most of this moment? Class 101 Nashville is a college planning company that provides one-one-one service to families and students as they're exploring and applying to colleges. From freshmen to seniors, our college counselors work with students to help them explore areas of study they're interested in, craft a unique college list, write essays that showcase their strengths, and navigate the college application process. We also offer SAT, ACT and PSAT preparation classes.

Meet the Business Owner: Karen F.
After working with Class 101 founder Tom Pabin for her oldest daughter's college planning, Karen Feamster appreciated the process and service so much that she wanted to provide it to her own community. She opened Class 101 Franklin in March 2014, and purchased Class 101 Nashville in late 2021. It's hard to keep up with this Kentucky Wildcat and CPA, who loves running, a good cup of coffee, volunteering with the Girl Scouts, and of course, counseling high schoolers and their families to help them find their best-fit colleges. She's served as PTO treasurer, PTO president, and IB Coordinator through the years, and as choir director for some of the youngest members of Franklin First United Methodist Church. "I love watching my students reach their goals and succeed," says Karen. "From ACT score increases, to getting into colleges, to scholarship money awards, it is such a joy to be part of their journey and see them mature and become these incredible adults.
