But after all that time and money, my score did not improve at all. The tutors were friendly, but the strategies they taught me were no different from what I had already learned on my own. There was no personalized approach, no real effort to target my weaknesses, and honestly, it felt like I was just going through the motions in every session. For a program that promises score improvements, this was a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for real results, I strongly suggest finding another program. Elite Tutoring Place did nothing for me except drain my wallet and leave me frustrated. The owner will respond to this message claiming I never attended Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton as he did in my google review. Regardless, I did attend Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton, and I find it concerning that he claims not to have any record of me. I showed up, did the work, and stuck to the program as instructed, yet my score did not improve at all. Nick- Instead of dismissing my experience, maybe take accountability and consider how blaming the student for not following the program correctly when I did everything asked of me is not a great look. When I was a sophomore/junior in high school, I attended C2 because my parents thought they could…read morehelp me with my ACT scores. Every time I took the ACT while taking the classes, I maintained the same score even after several months. Reading and science were my weaker subjects but the classes didn't seem to help. When I took the SATs, I got an 800 in math but C2 seemed to take credit even though math is my strongest subject. I still did pretty bad on Reading and Writing. Ironically it wasn't until I left C2 that I increased my ACT score by two points. Once I got accepted to a university (after I left), they would call me and ask what university I got accepted to and seemed to take credit for that as well - probably to add to their statistics. Overall, it was a waste of money, and my parents and I agreed we should've never signed up. yes, the teachers were nice, but I literally did not learn anything substantial or was able to apply any knowledge learned for these classes. I had a friend also attend C2, and he agrees. Do yourself a favor and just buy some practice books. You'll save thousands of dollars.

Naperfrench is very collaborative and adjusts to the individual student's needs and speed of progression. Although I only spent a little over a year studying with Naperfrench, I was able to use what I learned during imperative moments as a healthcare worker when dealing with patients who are native French speakers, when an interpreter was not readily available. The first few weeks, my child was provided a workbook that was two grades below him on accident. After they discovered this mistake, they quickly moved him to the correct book. However, GradePower did not notify me of this nor did they attempt to make amends for this error. My child never came home with any workbook or items to review once he left their facility. After several months, I asked that GradePower focus on more of the items that my child struggled with versus the items he was already good at. Alex, the owner, agreed, but then the teachers, I feel, still did what was easiest which was not to challenge my child on the difficult items. I never received any feedback from the teachers directly. Unless I asked my child, I did not know what they were working on at any given time. Alex was always available to discuss my child, which was great. He was professional at all times. The front office person was also always pleasant. I think this program does work for the many who reviewed GradePower with high marks. I also think a student who is eager for additional support, may benefit from this program. Unfortunately for us, overall it was a negative experience. As a last comment: I was also disappointed that GradePower continued to require masks after all mandates at businesses and schools had dropped this requirement. When asked about a timeline for them to be "optional", the response was that it would be a very long time. Alex said if it was up to him, they would never come off.
