In two short weeks Mathnasium has already helped my son. He just got a " A" on a quarter end algebra test and he is now getting better grades on homework. They test the student when they start in the program and create a curriculum to fill in gaps. The student can also work on homework and the instructor will check it.

Sharon is a good leader to her tutors. This place is well staffed and they work well with the students. The tutors provide as much independent learning with their students that helps build confidence and full control of their own academic skills. I think every child is a math genius in their own way; Mathnasium helps bring that genius out. Lots of parking in Gelson's and TJ Maxx center.

I worked with Brian and I think his background as an Ivy League student from a family that was not well-off allowed me to connect very easily with him. I always felt like I was working alongside him to improve my applications, and it was very easy to joke with him and push through a counselor-student relationship. My family has never been through the American college application process and I would highly recommend Royal Education to anyone who would like clear and concise advice and guidance.

I had Brian as a counselor and it was clear from the beginning that he had a really deep and thorough understanding of the college application process. From my first meeting with Brian, I felt very comfortable talking to him and I could tell that he was truly getting to know me as a person. After getting to know me, Brian was able to help determine which of my qualities should be emphasized through my essays to make me stand out as a unique and desirable applicant. Overall, the counseling I received from Royal Education made the whole college application process much easier to navigate and to manage and, with their guidance, I was admitted ED1 to Carnegie Mellon University for machine learning. Additionally, to anyone who may be wary of the high cost that comes with Royal Education, I can guarantee that the return of the hefty payment is well worth it and it is a decision my parents and I would gladly make again.

We purchased a package of hours, figuring we could use them for other subjects and SAT prep as well. What I didn't expect was how comprehensively C2 would help my son. We didn't know about the SAT subject tests, but Maggie recommended that my son take them. It was a godsend, because when my son was applying to schools- his top pick required three subject tests. He had already taken two the spring before thanks to c2's suggestion. Over the summer, my son did review with C2 for his SAT test. They helped him raise his scores tremendously. They also gave him counseling on college applications- providing worksheets for him to help identify some of the schools that might be a good fit for him. After he took the SAT, they helped him with brainstorming and editing a few sample essays for his college applications. Many of you reading this are results oriented like I am, so I'll tell you that my son got into his first choice for college and raised his SAT from a 1370 to a 1520. He managed to score a perfect 800 on math. Yes, he is bright and motivated and hard working. But he couldn't have done it without Maggie and her amazing tutors at c2.

This place is VERY understated and probably could be charging quadruple what they do. A lot of places have good staff but I think what sets this place apart is the company culture, which is no small factor when your kid is trying to thread the needle through all of the little details that matter in the application process (and those little things do matter if your dream is one of the top schools). The staff members all work as a team, surrounding your kid with an army of people who not only know what they're doing, (you can get that at a lot of places) but who ACTUALLY CARE and personally go above and beyond to see them succeed. They almost feel like extended family, an army of support. You can pay someone to help your kid out with applications, but you can't pay Somone to actually care! That is the difference with Elite. I don't know what or how they go about hiring people or what they do to foster that type of culture but the benefits of it go to your kid and in our case the results speak for themselves. Sure my kid is smart, has near perfect grades and test scores but so do thousands of other kids with near identical profiles. Elite helped my kid stand out from the crowd. They truly know what they are doing. Thank you thank you Elite!! A true trajectory changer for my kid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on all of those "fancy" places that charge double or in some cases quadruple. I almost did and I'm so glad I didn't.

Both were terrible. They spent so much time expecting you to do the problems or write essays while they sat there on their phones for like 60 minutes. The last 15 minutes were spent reviewing and giving me advice. Jenny spent more time being my therapist than teaching me the material and made me watch YouTube videos instead of just drawing it out and explaining it to me. She should've assigned that as homework and then gone over it afterward. I know more about her entire life story moving from a different country and dropping pre-med than I do about AP Biology. I also later found out that the head director there, Jane, scammed my parents for more money. Right before I submitted my college essays, she asked my parents for hundreds of dollars to help pay the tutors since they supposedly weren't doing well economically. My parents couldn't say no because my college essays were on the line. What disgusting behavior to put parents through, especially when they were already paying thousands for tutoring sessions. I'm livid because I only found out two years later. As for James, he probably spent 90% of the time on his phone and 10% helping me write my college essays. I have evidence as well. He was so unwelcoming and would get annoyed with me if I didn't understand the advice he gave me. I would dread going to his sessions and feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time because he would just sit in front of me behind a glass frame, glancing up from his phone from time to time while I typed away on my laptop. I would never be able to ask follow-up questions because I would be met with so much attitude.
