Amazing place. Our son is high functioning with ADHD and while focusing is a challenge for him when he is being tutored, the summer program has an extra hour where he can play with other kids via board games. From there, he would focus for hour straight playing chess. It was amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. read more

The Hacienda Hts Mathnasium team is a caring, engaging, and flexible team. I send all 3 of my kids here ranging in ages from elementary to high school. They are willing to change lesson plans to adjust to what my kids are learning in school and will always try their best to accommodate schedule changes/reschedules. I sent my kids to Kumon previously for 4 years and did not get the attention they get from Mathnasium. The teachers stay connected and report out on status on progress to me regularly. Overall they have been a great tutoring partner for me and my kiddos. Would highly recommend if you are seeking math focused tutoring! read more

I highly recommend Mathnasium as a mother and a teacher. My two children have been going to Mathnasium for years, and they really enjoy their learning sessions there. Ms. Tom and her dedicated staff work hard to ensure success for all their patrons. During the pandemic, I was worried when I noticed a decline in my children's math skills. I was thrilled when in-person learning resumed at Mathnasium. Their caring staff helped my kids to regain their confidence and progress in math. Soon, my kids were performing above grade level and scored level 4 on their recent state tests. There's no doubt that Mathnasium played a valuable role in my children's achievement! As a teacher, I appreciate the fact that Mathnasium provides individualized instructions rather than drill worksheets, daily/weekly progress monitoring, and consistent parent communication. Ms. Tom and her team will listen to any concerns you have and will work with you to resolve them. Most importantly, Mathnasium makes learning math fun! These are some of the many reasons that put Mathnasium above other learning centers. You will not regret sending your kid(s) there! read more

The teachers are well-trained to coach their students. My three children have grown and flourished in Math because of this program, especially my 4th grader who just finished her 7th grade Math materials and will be starting Algebra. Additionally, the center also sends out periodic progress reports of my children's performance. The staff also welcomes my ad hoc questions about my children's performance when I visit the center. Furthermore, the staff also works with my children's competing schedules...school clues and sport activities. Everyone is so knowledge, helpful, and kind. I have already referred a few families to this excellent Math program. Highly recommend this program. read more

Gave it a four star because we don't start until next week. Hope to update you soon but I spoke with Judy and she was patient with me and understood my concerns with my son. To be honest it's out of my price range specially with pandemic but I honestly believe it will be a great investment and worth the sacrifice. My son struggle with math and with cancellation of school early he has lost all confidence in himself. Judy arrange an assessment test right away. After getting his assessment test results and going over them with Judy am positive they will be able to help him not only mathematically but also with his confidence. read more

Mathnasium is a really fun place to learn at. The center motivates children to learn with prizes. We get cards and on each one there is stars. When the cards star is all filled out, we can spend it on the prizes in the cabinet. We do mastery checks like test and when we complete it we get to spin the wheel that has a variety of prizes. I learned a lot from mathnasium and we always do small projects on holidays that is also really fun. The teachers are really nice and helpful. I think mathnasium is a really good learning center to learn math in read more

My daughter started Mathenasium a year ago and loves their approach to learning. There is a lot of positive feedback, encouragement and celebration when she masters something new. She hated going to Kumon and their way of teaching and learning was NOT doing anything for her. Here at Mathenasium, they keep her engaged, motivated and excited to learn and grow! She gets 1-1 support from really committed and enthusiastic teachers who seem to enjoy helping her understand concepts she needs to understand and challenge her when she needs to be pushed to stretch and grow! Most of all she loves going to Mathnasium and learn math! I am so beyond thrilled by their effort and commitment to excellence. They even made the transition to online learning a breeze. read more
