Amazing math tutoring center. The tutors are amazing - they are very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. All of them are extremely patient and students really enjoy working with them. Owners Ruby and Benedict are wonderful to work with too - they are very attentive to students' individual needs and learning styles. Ruby is there all the time and she observes students' strengths and challenges, and communicates them to their parents. The center is very flexible about scheduling as well. With the help of Mathnasium, our daughter went from a 6th grader who cried from frustration while doing math homework to a confident and successful junior in high school who has achieved her goal SAT scores. Very well understanding tutoring location the teachers are decent and know what they are teaching.

My 7 year old son loves going to Mathnasium and doing his math assignments. Their way of teaching math seems very intuitive. Initially I had my son in kumon but it did not fit my son's learning style and felt like rote memorization. Ben, Ruby and the staff are very friendly and have a way of making math intuitive and fun. They have been developing my son's skills which I believe will help him excel in math. read more

My daughter was struggling with her summer pre-calculus class which was very much accelerated. I signed her up for one on one tutoring at Mathnasium. In just a few sessions, Benedict was able to fill in the gaps in her knowledge. She stopped feeling intimidated by the subject matter and can now continue her math studies with renewed confidence. I just wish I had brought her to Mathnasium earlier. My concerns of my 12 year old son's declining math grade have been growing in the past 3 months or so. I have tried KUMON in the past and felt that their program was not a fit for my son in this situation. I had to take the matters in my own hands and find another suitable supplemental program,. Back in January 2015 i have stumbled upon Mathnasium driving on Main Street in Fort Lee, NJ. I signed my son for Mathnasium in February. I was skeptical about the program in the beginning, but it has beat all of my expectations. First of all, the improvements in my son's math grades over the last 3 months are drastic ( grades increased from D to B). Second, my son loves to go there and enjoys every minute of his study time. Math is no longer a chore. Three, instructors at Mathnasium are real professionals and excellent with/around children. The stuff is genuinely interested in growing math knowledge in kids and delivering exceptional services while doing so. Four, their supplemental learning franchise helping kids all the way through high school which allows for further bonding amongst kids themselves and teachers. Five, every single interaction with them to me, as a parent, has been informative, painless, and very genuine. They are truly interested in helping kids to fall in love with math subject. I highly recommend Mathnasium to kids who want to improve math knowledge, logical thinking , and grades at school.
