As a parent, I felt really good about dropping off my kids here as I knew they were taken care of very well. The place is very clean and the curriculum is engaging. I can tell how much my children enjoy it as they do a great job of sending daily updates and photos which really help us get a good grasp of what they do all day. Also, my kids always left with a big smile on their faces. This only happens when the people who operate this place truly care about the children. I can say my experience was about as good as it gets and we absolutely plan on bringing the kids back very soon. I noticed there were some legacy negative reviews that were tied to the previous ownership - but speaking from experience I can say unequivocally that this daycare is absolutely pristine and the right place to send my kids to. We've had some good and not so good experiences with other options and Genesis is without doubt on top of the list as I feel confident they take great care of the kids and keep parents regularly updated with their daily communication. Highly recommended.

However, the amount of care and personal attention that's my daughters got here was amazing, all of that in a very clean, perfectly organized environment that prepared both of my daughters to continue and excel in excellent private schools. We As parents were very happy and I am planning to put my third daughter in when she comes of age. I think the best testimony to the greatness of the school is my oldest daughter memory. Even today, she claims that the real difference in her education was her kindergarten years and she still remembers all teachers dearly.

We started out with great hopes but the underlying problem of this school surfaced pretty fast. This is a one-person show and the rest of the teachers and aids are changing very fast. The Montessori method is great but keeping children sitting on the line for an extended period of time is simply unacceptable. Also, each time when they line up for any activity they have to stand motionless otherwise they won't participate in any activity. Her solution - sit back on the line. So what are they doing all day?! Nothing! Young children should never experience such harsh treatment. This woman shows no genuine emotions towards the children. Her only way to manage the classroom is by screaming and yelling. Harsh verbal discipline (HVD) is scientifically proven to be harmful therefore it is a wrong choice to keep the children under control. The last drop before we pulled out when we realized the water bottle was almost full in the lunch box after a whole day in school. Imagine your child was neglected without drinking for more than 6 hours. Extremely disappointing experience! No trust what so ever! Oh, and your children's vocabulary will pick up a few new expressions such as: "I am overwhelmed with you"; "Shut your mouth!"; "Be quiet" and "It is your fault". Isn't that great!? I am very happy that I could save my child from this bad energy and harmful environment.

I deeply regret sending my baby to this daycare, and I wish I had done more research into its…read morepublic complaints (3 filed complaints already) and inspection history (a Temporary license with repeated noncompliance over months) before enrolling. My baby was in the infant class, and I have serious doubts about the professionalism of the staff there, as well as their certifications and background checks. A worker repeatedly pushed my baby down into the crib while she was trying to arch her back and lift herself up. On another occasion, my baby was left crying in a high chair for over ten minutes with no one attending to her, then was wheeled into the kitchen area facing away from the camera -- seemingly to keep this out of view. When my baby dropped her pacifier on the floor, the worker put it right back to her mouth without even rinsing it off. This is even more troubling given that their "no shoes" policy to the infant room is essentially not enforced -- I personally witnessed multiple people walking through the infant room in outdoor shoes with no intervention from staff. When I raised these concerns with the head teacher, Joycelyn, and the blonde woman at the front desk, I was met with attitude and dismissiveness rather than a genuine response. The moment I saw how they handled a legitimate concern, I took my baby home and never went back. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. Look up this facility's public licensing record via New Jersey Child Care Explorer. As of this writing, the facility has three complaints on public record -- including one describing a staff member repeatedly pushing down on an infant's head, similar to what my own child experienced. There's also a broader pattern of noncompliance, and the facility currently holds a Temporary license rather than a Regular one. That's a meaningful red flag worth weighing seriously -- not just a paperwork technicality.

I really appreciate how they cater to my daughter's strengths and weaknesses and always encourage her to go a step further. As someone who works with young children myself, it was very difficult finding the right preschool but I am so confident that she is in the right place. Aside from her amazing teachers, the administrative staff is also wonderful. Extremely accessible and accommodating (even when I made way too many changes to the schedule), and very friendly. Even the other teachers that we see in passing are always so friendly. It's a small school where you get to know the staff pretty well, unlike some other preschools/daycares that make you feel like you're just one faceless number in a crowd. Would definitely recommend this school. The only con is the location (fort lee) makes it hectic to drop off/pickup because the street turns into a 1 way and it's right across from one of the public schools so it get crowded. Also, the tuition rates are on the high end...but you are definitely getting what you pay for!

Before long, she was eagerly looking forward to school each day! She adores all the special classes, but music with Miss Momo on Fridays is definitely her favorite. One of the highlights of the year was the holiday show they performed for the families. Seeing those little ones dressed as elves, singing, and shaking their instruments putting their whole hearts into it was absolutely precious. Our granddaughter has truly blossomed at Palisades Preschool. She's become quite the social butterfly and talks all the time about her friends at school. The teachers often send photos and videos during the day, and it's so clear from those big smiles that the kids are having the time of their lives while learning and growing. On days that I pick her up from school, I'm amazed at how joyful and excited all the children are at Palisades Preschool. It's been such a wonderful year, and while we're a little sad to see it end, we're thrilled she'll be joining the summer camp and moving on to the 3s class this fall.
