According to this reputable tax service, I was guaranteed audit protection. The mainstream company did not submit my information correctly, and as a result, I was audited by the IRS. Unfortunately, all of this occurred during COVID-19 when government agencies found themselves understaffed, and the IRS was not readily answering inquires. The GI Tax Advisor were on top of everything and made notes of when they attempted to speak with federal and state tax entities on my behalf. I now live in CA and still use GI Tax Advisory because they are honest, diligent, and really made a difference in relieving so much stress. They are also immigrant friendly and speak Spanish.

Due to the difficult nature of my return (which included several states, a company, some stocks, and foreign income), tax firms often don't know how to file my return properly. There would always be something wrong with my return and I would always have to request for amendments, which is time consuming and tedious. However, I was reassured by a staff member, Katie, that my return is in good hands since this accounting firm specializes in this type of return. I was told to "drop off" my documents and come back in a few days to pick it up with my return. At first, I was really skeptical about this because I had never done a "drop off" before. Essentially, I was to leave my documents with them until my return is ready for pick up. I usually have my return done in front of me and on the spot so I was a little nervous about it. And guess what? I worried for nothing! My return was done before I knew it and Katie was so kind as to explain to me why and how my return came out to be what it was. To sum it up, great customer service, cheap price for excellent quality work, and totally exceeded my expectations.
