Overall, I get a great vibe in the library. I'm working on getting a library card as we are new to the area. Also, the hours Mon - Thurs: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sat - Sun: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. are very reasonable for a library on post. I will be back with updates about the library card. Cheers.

I drive Sundays from Augusta to Aiken to enjoy the serenity of a smaller city with much to offer and a sweet pedestrian friendly downtown. I'm new to the kneeling and the more formal attire worn by the clergy at St. Thaddeus. I'm interested in midweek activities here as well, including Wednesday Chapel in an ancient building.

Looking for nearby outdoor places in CSRA, we found this trail off the beaten path. There are…read morereally 2 parts to this trail, I'll call them the eastern trail and the western trail. Eastern trail is wide open, no trees, and you're walking around some holding ponds designed to filter sewage from the nearby sewage plant. That's not as bad as it sounds, it doesn't smell like sewage. If you're a bird watcher, this place is for you. I preferred the western trail, which meanders thru the woods beside a creek and over boardwalks elevated above marshlands.

Horrible Communication!…read more I heard about this school from a friend. I decided to call and book for my son. When I initially called I spoke with a lady who told me that this course was a week long course and that I could pay extra to have the driving test administered there. That way at the end of the week my son would be able to get a drivers license if he passed. I thought..why not? I am thinking back to HS where you do both classroom and driving instruction each day. I tried to ask as many questions as I could, but the lady seemed put out that I was asking them and wasn't really forthcoming with anything other than answering what I asked. The week before my son was to attend, I was then told that no, the first week is instruction only and then you have to schedule to drive the following week. So I asked, this is a two week course instead of one? She told me it was 6 hours of driving, but it has to be scheduled, so more like an additional 2-3 days. On the day we drop my son off I am handed paperwork. I have to list all the days and times of availability for the next 6-8 weeks. What?! I was told a week, then a week and 6 hours.. now its 6-8 weeks before they can be scheduled to drive? The miscommunication is unbelievable. So unprofessional.
