They've had a very high turnover for teachers in the 4 and 5 class and felt our son was not being prepared academically for kindergarten. Since Ms. Mandee left last year, there has not been consistency. Teachers leave after a few weeks. Ms. Daisy, Ms. Alana and Ms Sarah are wonderful with the children don't get me wrong and they are the glue that are holding this school together. The teachers were very understaffed as far as ratio to students. There were times I would pick up my son and the students are out of control and the teacher would look stressed out or overhelmed. You have the same disorderly children causing ruckus in the class. The last straw was when my son came home with marker on his face and so did three of his other classmates. Where was the supervision? Again, lack of staff.I do not blame the teachers but management for not hiring the needed staff. My son came home one day with a small puncture wound behind his ear from another chiId throwing a toy at his head and bruises because the kids couldnt keep their hands to themselves.I caught this when I was giving him his bath and the area was swollen with dried blood. No incident report was done on this. I felt it was more of a daycare and not a pre k program. When we did the tour, the owner stated that they will be teaching Spanish and sign language. Not the case. Snacks were generic Walmart brands and not the fresh, in house meals promised. Not to mention the tuition was much more expensive than the other schools in the area at over 285 a week.During rainy days, the children would watch movies on a small fire tablet instead of a regular television or having activities to do. Screen time is limited at home. You have 15 -20 kids trying to watch a 9 by 11 inch screen! I would think the owner would invest in a television instead of having 15+ kids watching a fire tablet.During the assessment at another school, the teacher even asked us what was being taught because our son was very behind as far as being prepared for kindergarten. Not a good sign.We were also still charged the 2 weeks for pulling our son out early. !!!Please be careful with these reviews and do your research. While my son was attending, they would hold raffles for tickets for good reviews and reviews from people that have left 5 star reviews for other KA locations!!! .Thankfully, we were able to get him into a great school and we couldnt be happier Academically, my son is excelling and he is happy with his new teachers. I feel much more confident that he is being prepared for kindergarten. My only regret not pulling him out sooner.

School of business management (SBM 6. Education and social services (ESSM) Is this school hard?? Yes it is, and depending on which school you go into it may be even harder. For example TAG is harder overall than HSHP. They get more work and have high standards over all. Though some schools may have higher standards all the school are great and each holds their students to what they believe to be a reasonable academic goal. Is it hard to get in?? Yes and no, it has gotten easier which is a complaint I have. The class size has gone up so it is "easier" to get in. But it is in no way easy to get in. You still have to prepare and deliver on all the entry requirements and if even then nothing is guaranteed. Personally I love this school it prepares me perfectly for the future I want and sets me on the math to make my dreams into reality. All the teachers are great at their job so if you aren't doing good in a class that's on you because I know the teachers do all they can to help you succeed. From tutoring times to giving out their emails so you can ask questions at any times. I was gleeful... my HS daughter, was another story, her response, "Caf food is awful!" "Awful" seemed a bit extreme, but this is young person who typically has a lunch bag packed with hummus, tabbouleh and feta cheese chunks with naan bread and fresh fruit salad. But, with an entire year of FREE LUNCHES on the table, I had to check it out for myself. The meal was not bad for the $3 'civilian' rate I paid! Jumbo Fish Stick on wheat bun, beans, lime rice, mac n cheese all rather flavorful; but the canned fruit... not so much. The fish was actually FISH, not like the 'fish product' of yore! It flaked like fish, had a lightly crunchy crust and wasn't greasy at all. It possibly was baked! I fixed it up with Sriracha sauce and Ranch dressing. They get major creds for the service bar (fresh orange infused iced water) with a nice assortment of condiments! Not just salt/pepper, ketchup/mustard; there were bottles of lime juice, Sriracha sauce, BBQ sauce, Cajun, Ranch & Balsamic dressings and more! I certainly didn't have it this good at my HS cafeteria! The 'Kiddling'? She will be enjoying the culinary benefits of my school tax dollars this year! After multiple attempts to resolve the situation, we ultimately had to arrange the training through another provider as we received no response from Sterling. What is especially frustrating is that we were later told the fees were nonrefundable, even though we had previously received written communication from Sterling stating that a full refund would be issued. We were not provided with refund terms or a refund policy when we purchased the training package. We have kept all of the correspondence and documentation and will be pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels.
