This review is not based on the work of their cleaning itself but on their work ethic & integrity. As previous reviews mentioned, Juan, the manager, is great with communication and the business page states he replies within 10 minutes. This was true for me but only for the first few days. The last message I've heard from him was last Wednesday (5 days ago) that we could schedule today at 12:30-1pm for a cleaning. I've received quotes from other companies and although this company was not the cheapest, I decided to go with his company based on great communication, their great reviews, and the work I've seen. However, the great communication stopped then. I replied to him immediately after to let him know that and asked if we were good to go and what forms of payment they accept. No response. Two days later, I messaged again to see if we were still set for today. No response. I decided to send a text the next day which was two days ago (he had texted me before on this number) to mention that I haven't heard back from him and to ask if we were still on for Monday so I know if I need to look for another company. Again, no response. Perhaps they found someone with a nicer or larger house (and more money for them) or a better neighborhood. Or maybe they didn't want to clean my house or want/need my business. I don't know. All I do know is that a simple no or cancellation would have been appreciated. So now it's Monday, 8 hours after our tentatively set time and I've got no cleaners. I was really looking forward to having some after having spent days organizing my home but I was unable to find anyone else to hire over the weekend due to them having already been booked for today, my one day off. I've also spent this day off cleaning as much as I could while I should be using it to finish up homework for my class. Now I've got to wait another week for my next day off to get my house cleaned with another company. So thanks for that, Juan/Mateo's Home Cleaning. read more

This is really late. I moved out of my SDSU studio to Lemon Grove at end of February. I was able to easily schedule in advance. Mateo had 2 women show up for a move out cleaning of studio (with no kitchen). They did a great job in half a day; was very happy. I recommend them highly! read more

I wish I could give them ten stars. By far the best cleaning company I've ever used. Juan was quick to respond to my inquiry. I wanted to have our house cleaned before my mother returned home from the hospital and Juan and his crew made it happen. Not only that but he showed genuine concern for my mother and offered to pray for her. One lady showed up and began cleaning up a storm. Then about an hour later an entire crew came to help clean. These ladies took care of everything. They cleaned the baseboards, floors, tops of lights in the bathroom, cabinets and they even pulled the oven and refrigerator out and cleaned behind them. My oven looks better than the day we bought it. They have a loyal customer in me. Seriously, can't say enough great things about every person who came to my house. I booked with relatively short notice and he was able to accommodate the date and time I requested. I received several responses, and some cheaper, but when I received one from Juan at Mateo's, I knew he understood what I needed and that his company was going to be the best choice.
