i am a local in the san clemente area and i go to this place all the time! its a perfect after school drink spot and so many awesome restaurants with awesome people around it. the people are very friendly and nice! tip: you can ask for a punch card and the more drinks you buy, the more stamps you get and if you collect 10 you get a free drink! they also take apple pay which is super helpful for when you are in a rush or dont want to take forever getting out your wallet. i dont have a favorite because i literally love everything at this place. definitely recommend this place! read more

I've been consuming boba tea for about 20 years now and Matcha is one of the best! San Clemente needed boba desperately because I'd have to drive to either Irvine or San Diego. This is one of the only places that actually makes your tea fresh to order and the boba is constantly chewy and delicious. I love that they also offer 2 decaf tea blends for my kiddos who are boba fanatics as well. My son's only complaint is that they don't offer Jelly. read more

The boba has zero flavor. The tea is pretty good, but over priced. Good amount of flavorless boba, too bad they only offer 1 size. Decent service, quick. read more

So happy to have a good boba place in San Clemente! I ordered a Jasmine green milk tea with boba, and I thought it was really great. The boba is freshly made- you can tell because it's nice, soft, and chewy. Coming back every week for my weekly boba fix read more

They have a great selection of teas and Frappes. Service is always with a smile. I really like the coffee frappes. Green tea ice cream was tasty. I am usually here 1-2x a week for my frappe and Poki-Tiki. read more

I come here very often for the boba and milk teas/frapps. i've seen the comments saying how they don't have the Japanese waffle cones and giving them one star. I asked the employees to confirm and they said they stopped selling them and don't carry them at this time. On the other hand i have never tried their ice cream but a friend of mine has and tells me it is amazing. For me it is a 100% recommendation and every time i come here (i live a little ways away but come to visit family) i have an amazing experience and definitely recommend the taro frapp with boba or the matcha milk latte. It also is very convenient that Poki Tiki is in that same building. absolutely LOVE this place!! read more

Favorite boba place ever!! The staff is very friendly and nice. They make the drinks very quickly and are always delicious. My personal favorite is the Thai tea! read more

So bummed. They won't take reusable containers so you have to waste with plastic (I know a lot of people don't care about this, but I do) and they also use Grade A matcha which is not what it sounds... Grade A would never be used in traditional matcha. It's only used in cooking because the quality is poor. When you get your matcha here it's a dirty dark green-brown color. It should be bright green always! Upon actually trying it: this matcha literally tastes like seaweed. Sorry, but if you're going to call your business "matcha" please use quality matcha. read more

my boba place!! i get the strawberry hibiscus tea with boba and its always delicious. the workers are kind and don't take too long making a fresh drink! read more

Husband and I went in for an avocado frappe boba. They were out of bobas at the moment and we were given a 45 minute wait (we used the time to go to Lowe's.) Customer service was great and friendly. Boba tea was delicious even though there were chunks of ice. I think maybe it needs to be blended a bit longer read more

Love me some bubble tea! They always do a great job & it's speedy service. I do the order pickup, it's super convenient for a mom on-the-go.

I would say this is the worst milk tea I've ever had, but it's not even milk tea, it might as well be candy water. There was a strand of the worker's hair on the cup. Its also so sugary. I've had actual milk tea before and they let you choose sugar level, but even the max is ten times less than this. If you want authentic milk tea, this is not it. read more

My favorite place to get Boba! Super friendly staff and always quick Seriously love this place!

Definitely my favorite boba place in south oc !! The strawberry frappe boba is sooo tasty

WARNING!! There is no Matcha ice cream or soft serve. Don't let the pictures fool you. As delicious as it looks the only Matcha thing they have is Matcha tea, frappe or Latte. read more

WTF, they no longer have softserve? I went specifically to try it in the fun fish cone. Got a scoop of (cheap yellow) vanilla with matcha powder (also cheap) instead. Totally bummed out. The girl who served me was nice,so five stars for her. read more

I called at 8:41 AM. The phone was not answered even though on yelp it says open at that time. In addition, no voicemail could be left because a voicemail was not set up. read more

Thai Tea with boba is $4.50 and really creamy, for which I loved. Thanks for the drink and the amazing customer service.

The jasmine green milk tea with boba was perfect, sweet but in a good way. :) I had the matcha swirl in the Nutella-lined cone. The soft serve could have been creamier, but it was still delicious! I loved the cone and the Nutella goes nicely with the soft serve. read more

It was a little too quiet inside, but very nicely designed. The people working there are sweet! I got the matcha milk tea and my sister got the honey green tea. We expected it to be like most milk teas: creamy. It was quite watery as you can tell by the pic. It was a little too sweet as well. We also got the swirled taiyaki; the fish cone and custard were good but the ice cream is too icy; it would be nice if it was creamier too. This place is new, and I hope they take the criticism constructively because there is potential! read more

The matcha and milk soft serve was icy not smooth or creamy. The ice cream did not have enough matcha flavor and the fish cone was too thick and chewy. The topping options were limited. The avocado drink with boba was bland and disappointing. Overall, the ice cream was edible and the avocado drink was drinkable but nothing I have to come back to order. read more

See all

Good jasmine green iced tea and boba. But that's pretty much it. No custard, jellies, flavors, ad-on's or many speciality blends to customize your drink (like a traditional boba place might have). But good to quench a craving. read more

Finally tried this place after hearing about it ever since it opened. We were skeptical about it at first because good boba is hard to come by down here, but we were pleasantly surprised. My wife got the Thai tea and said it was one of the best she's had (and that's the only drink she gets with boba). I got the jasmine tea and it was just as good. We will definitely be coming back! read more

What a fantastic place to eat! It's combined with a poke place, so you can have dinner AND dessert, which is probably my favorite part. I came in today around 1:00 for lunch with my kids and the young lady at the counter was SO sweet to them..she gave great recommendations on which drinks to get and I got the Matcha Latte.. it was the best matcha drink I've had!! My kids ordered the soft serve and I tried some and it was delicious! 100% would recommend! read more

this place is amazing! i've been here a few times for boba and it's super delicious. The matcha is wonderful, as is the thai tea and the jasmine tea. Everything is spot on and the boba is great as well. It's so nice to finally have a good boba place in San Clemente! This is for sure my boba spot now, and I can't wait to try to the ice cream next! read more

YUMMM! I've already been here too many times :/ I love their milk tea with boba. The boba is the perfect chewiness and the milk tea is not too sweet. read more

Got the taro milk tea and was good. Marking it down because the service wasn't really friendly. I know it's their job to make the teas, but maybe a little "have a nice day" or a "welcome" when coming in the store. All they did was take my order and when my tea was done they just set it on a weird table without calling it out. I was the only one there, but they could've at least said "heres your taro milk tea with boba." If they were more welcoming I could see this place being a great hangout spot for teas, since it's combined with a poké place. read more

Came for the matcha, coming back almost daily for the boba (bubble) tea. Great service and great organic matcha as well!

Super cute!! I love all of the tea flavors. I am so happy that the have tayaki!! I usually have to drive 30 mins to get that! Will definitely go again. read more

This place is very refreshing. The employees welcome you, give advise, and have smalls on their faces. The inside is amazing. It is very up to date and clean. The people making the drinks were a little new but people were very positive and working with them. The poke is fresh. I was glad someone asked if it was and the guy behind the counter said yes. I knew anyways because I was halfway through my bowl. It is good to know that these are wild caught except the salmon. This is a plus in my book. It would be nice to see it cut straight off the fish. I would pay more to see that then coming out if a container. I'm not saying show the fish head and guts but a nice fillet then chopped up would be nice. Portions are great. I had a small with rice and it filled me up. I wasn't stuffed but I was comfortable. I did not try the tea boba ice cream but will next time. I've been to other ones and they do have a steak option. This would be nice because my wife does not eat fish and I would be eating alone. I will be back soon read more

So happy to have this new boba place in San Clemente! It's very good and we have gone there a few times already. Kids love it and so do we!

Matcha Ice cream is the best!! I love coming here with my friends the fish cone ice creams are so creative. I really enjoy the teas too ! Friendly staff and creative decor. Really glad there is one is San Clemente. It's a cute ice cream date idea. The summer passion tea is good but the boba is just ok. The fish cone ice cream is the best part about this place. read more

Matcha - Coffee & Tea Near Me - San Clemente, California

I was SO excited to try this place as I am obsessed with matcha. I bought a Matcha latte & I was saddened to see & taste at how bad the quality of matcha that was used. Matcha should be extremely bright green. The drink I received was brown green. Secondly, the aroma was not fresh, same goes for the flavor. Hopefully they will fix this in the near future. read more

I've never been so disappointed in a matcha latte. Watered down drink for sure. I suggest you go to a more authentic tea place.

super amazing flavor! i normally go to boba places out i irvine, but we decided to give this place a try since it is 5minutes from home. totally worth checking out! the prices are the same as other boba tea places (this size was $4, 50c extra for boba). i love how cold the tea is, with lots of boba & little ice, making the experience so awesome! im super happy we have this place nearby. definitely try it out!! read more

great tea but rly slow and took a while, they also made our order wrong and didn't correct it.

So yummy!!!!!! So nice to have a matcha/ tea place by us finally. Loved the matcha frappe!

Best boba I've ever had! Not too much ice, very flavorful and soft tapioca. The strawberry hibiscus flavor was so refreshing and not too sweet! read more

I've been here twice. Both variant experiences, maybe based on time of day. Our lunch experience was great. Food was very tasty. I would really love for them to add a shredded cabbage base though. We went back a second time for dessert, about 7:45pm - so 1.25 hrs before close - to get one of those delish fish shaped soft serve ice cream cones. They said they needed to make the cones and it would be 5 minutes. Fast forward 25 min later we had our cones. Really wasn't awesome to have to wait that long, and had us very late taking our Daughters friend home. Now to be fair, they did offer to just give us the ice cream in a bowl versus wait for the cone after it had been 15 min - but there wouldn't have been a credit back for the missing cone, and frankly - the cone is what makes this dessert fantastic... so we passed on that offer and waited for the cone. Bright side - the treat is exceptional. I highly recommend the Nutella filling. YUM. read more

I had ice cream here and it was the best I have ever had. It was the only place I know that filled your ice cream cone.
