Promised he could complete by July 14th. He took $16,000 deposit in May, and then a couple of days later he needed another $6,000. He hired some people for a couple days to break up concrete. He never paid his sub (sprinkler and lighting guy) so I had to pay that out of pocket so they wouldn't rip out all of the sprinkler/lighting work. Another $4k there. My back yard is a complete disaster since he hasn't been back in over a month and won't return my calls/emails/texts. The few trees that he planted are all dead. He busted up my new fence when cutting down a tree that he wasn't supposed to cut down, there's another $1,600 to fix. See pics for before and current. My backyard wasn't even all that bad before, now I'm out $28k with nothing to show for it but a ruined muddy/overgrown back yard. He will be out of business by the end of the year when I'm done with him, BUT DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THIS GUY IN THE MEANTIME!!

I called last week for estimates for some pruning in the front yard and some touching up in the…read morebackyard. Pat spoke in depth with me about what we needed done. He said he'll send his other worker Yucute. He came the next day to give us an estimate and said he can come back in a few days (this week). We were impressed because the other places we called had up to a 3 week wait. Yucute did the work for us yesterday. Our front yard went from looking like the entrance of a haunted house to perfectly pruned/trimmed. Our back yard is no longer like a jungle. We have more work that needs to be done so Pat Landscaping will be the company we go to. We need some ivy to be removed so i can start a garden. Yucute said he can pull all the ivory and put some top soil down for the garden. That's really nice because this is my first time trying a garden and i wasnt even thinking about top soil. I'm sure my garden will be successful with Yucute's help. Great customer service and awesome results. Definitely go with this place.

We hired A&H Tree Service based on a neighbor's referral to remove a few branches from a large tree…read morein our yard. They did remove the branches--and maybe one more than expected--but overall, the work itself was fine, and they cleaned up the debris. That said, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking throughout, except when they repeatedly followed up for the deposit. They didn't tell us in advance that our driveway and front street needed to be clear for their truck, so my partner had to rush home from work to move the car. After the job, no photos were shared, and when I asked about the price and 3% credit card fee, they pointed to the contract. Fair enough--but it would've been helpful if they had mentioned that upfront. I offered to send cash or a check to avoid the surcharge, but they said credit card is now the only accepted method. Between the lack of communication and inflexibility, I wouldn't recommend them based on customer service alone. Hopefully the residue left on our vinyl fence comes off with a hose.

Had a giant, massive tree removed in front of my property…read more 1. Little to no communication. Was told I needed to have police come (an extra not cheap cost) at 8 am. So why didn't A & H's team show up until closer to ten? "They're coming, don't worry." Easy for him not to worry; I'm the one paying. When I asked Javier about it, "don't worry, you'll get reimbursed back for the time." -Never happened. Never saw a dime of that back. 2.-A year later, needed to get the remainder of the stump ground down. They wouldn't commit to a day or time, or time frame. Told me they'd give me notice. They texted me an hour before. I wasn't home. Did they grind it? -Hardly. They were there and left within 45 minutes, and lo and behold, the stump was not ground sufficiently. 3. We had to have them come back, further cost, and at no point do they EVER remove the mulch. So this is just cost upon cost. And yet again, no communication. 4. At no point do they communicate clearly. Javier seems bothered, constantly. People are dropping thousands of dollars for services, and he seems annoyed, quite frankly. Would leave messages, for about 2 weeks continuously getting told someone would call back. -I'd wait a few days, no call back. The most frustrating experience.

I recently had work done on my property by Clearview Tree and Land. Nemias, a representative came…read moreto my house to submit a bid to prune a Crepe Myrtle tree and prune a rose bush. . The bid for the tree was in line but the bid for the rose bush was too high so we negotiated a fair price. Nemias seemed to know how to prune a rose bush. It takes time and patience. Cutting it wrong can and most likely will kill the plant. The rose bush in question at my house produces a huge amount of deep red roses each year so I am very particular of its pruning. He assured me his people knew how to do it. When the day came they did an excellent job on cutting the crepe. However they used a "Hedge Trimmer", that's right a "Hedge Trimmer" to cut the rose bush, which took all of "2 minutes". It was obvious they had no idea how to trim the plant. For the $60 they charged I could have gone into my garage and mutilated the plant with my own hedge trimmer. The site manager Oscar, assured me his man knew what he was doing. He didn't. They didn't. When it comes to trimming trees, I am sure they are excellent. DO NOT, however, let them touch anything that requires "real knowledge" of horticulture. You will be greatly disappointed.
