I submitted my insurance information and made my payments before leaving the facility each time. It was shocking to receive a bill for hundreds of dollars 3.5 years later. Dr. Josh Bailey claims they do not have my insurance on file nor did they ever submit anything to my insurance. He told me I cannot expect their employees to always follow procedure however it looks to be a recurring issue based on the recent reviews. I believe something very strange is going on here. I have never been met with such resistance from any medical provider when trying to resolve a billing issue. I have attached a screenshot showing my correspondence with Dr. Josh Bailey and his refusal to send me a revised bill since I have a copy of our correspondence via email. I have never heard of anything more unprofessional from any medical facility. I still have yet to settle this bill because of Dr. Josh Baileys refusal to provide a correct bill. I had the bad luck of getting a severe lower back/hip sprain on a weekend, resulting from…read moreunderlying stress silently building up. It was a Saturday, I was new in Bainbridge and did not know where to look. I turned to Yelp and saw positive reviews and called the phone number. By chance, Dr. Petheram was in the office to catch up on paperwork. Luckily for me, he told me to come in to the office and he would have a look. From the first appointment he listened to my concerns, and used a restrained, minimalistic treatment approach. Immediately he worked on loosening up my seized-up, tight, sprain. He has a back stretcher machine that allows the body to be gently mechanically stretched particularly the lumbar (lower) back. He also uses a vibrator to stimulate muscles. He uses a little focussed hammer tool to help with spine alignment. There is very gentle spinal manipulation only as needed. Dr. Petheram is certified in using a laser which greatly reduces inflammation through photo-bio response at the cellular level. Laser was helping me to feel less stiff almost right away. Finally he is certified in "taping" using rock tape. This "tape" technique helps lift the skin over the concerned area, to encourage blood circulation underneath the skin and promotes healing. Within 3 times of going I felt I was really doing much better. Most of all I really appreciated the capable, expert approach, the holistic understanding, and the experienced care I got. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Petheram's expertise. He is a real healer and his kind manner is wonderful. Later on when I had a torn meniscus, I returned to him and he has been supporting my recovery because he would offer solutions for promoting body healing that the orthopedic surgeon simply does not have.

I had felt it was way beyond what a chiropractic visit could do. At times I couldn't lift my arms above my head. He listened and spent time and patience with me to create a plan. Well, sir, it happened here. A dermotologist had recommended I see Dr. Sarah Neitzel for podiatric care and I had my PCP send a referral to her. When the office called to schedule an appointment I was told I'd be seeing her partner, Dr. Jarod Spencer instead. I agreed to the change. This is why it always pays to be open-minded. The office visit with Dr. Spencer was superb. Very friendly guy with an easy manner who really knows his stuff. We talked about the foot thing I had an issue with a slightly-regrown ingrown toe nail He gave me several options including two options for cutting the nail thing out. We agreed I'd try the options and then follow up in a couple of months. Have you ever been given new info and felt your brain expand with that new knowledge? Only me, huh? Well then, OK, let's continue. Anyway, my brain expanded after absorbing that new information. But THE best thing about my appointment with Dr. Spencer? Not once did he leave the exam room to check on other patients waiting in other exam rooms. I've gone to two single doctor podiatry practices where the one guy would be bopping back and forth between several rooms. So not only are you waiting for the guy to come back and finish whatever he started, you worry and hope that the guy remembers who YOU are and what your situation is and doesn't confuse you with another patient. I've had a past podiatrist say to me upon his return to the room, "OK, where were we? Oh yes..." Those guys are hyped up to begin with because they have to be in order retain sufficient energy (and hopefully mental focus) throughout the day--every day. Dr. Spencer was calm, friendly and professional. He was at ease which put me at ease--and this was our first visit. So, from now on, he's my guy. And since I've got various foot issues, it's comforting to know I found a great podiatrist I can trust, and well deserves this five-star rating.

We were asked if contacts were considered, which was surprising since I mentioned when the appointment was made that 'it was for contacts'. Mind you I made the appointment months before. The optometrist mentioned that she could try on contacts that same day since they were in stock. I was told instead we'd have to set up another time to come in. I'm disappointed my teen did not get a chance to try on the contacts the same day of the appointment. Baffled even that she was unable to try them. In my over 20 years of wearing contacts, I've never experienced NOT being able to go home with a single pair of contacts! Let alone trying to see if she can put them in. Now we have to wait another two weeks to try them to see if they work (before putting in the order). I see a lot of new workers in the office even so, this visit is making me rethink where to go for my household eye prescriptions. I've also noticed an influx of clients. I've never seen so many in the waiting room at once.
