The "Dr" denied my referral after waiting for weeks. The receptionist inferred he wouldn't be paid enough. Down right dirty.

After 15 minutes standing waiting to be finally called back. I mentioned out loud that if as a consultant I was 15 minutes late to a client I would be fired. Thier response was "That's Life". After another 15 minutes waiting for the consulting doctor I walked out feeling if they didn't respect my time, I figured probably not so much me personally.

I was awake for the entire procedure, which is standard for a vasectomy. In my case, the local anesthetic did not seem to provide equal coverage on both sides. I experienced significant discomfort at one point during the procedure. I would encourage anyone considering this to have a detailed conversation with their surgeon beforehand about pain management expectations. 2. An observer was present in the operating room during my procedure. I was not informed of this before arriving for surgery, and consent was requested after I was already on the operating table and prepared for the procedure. In my personal opinion, I felt this could have been handled better, and I would have preferred the opportunity to make that decision in advance. I am not discouraging anyone from seeking care here, but I hope sharing my experience helps others know what questions to ask beforehand.
