She's incredible! The office runs smoothly, barely any wait time for my appointment, I was routed to Jenna quickly after arriving. Very modernized, each station seems to have its own X-ray machine readily accessible, and the panoramic machine for the 3-year scan was quick and easy to use as well. No clunky inserts needed for either scan, I was very impressed by the equipment. The overhead TV was nice too, it made my 90-minute cleaning pass quickly. I also appreciate that the hygienist had insurance detailed information readily accessible, so she was able to inform me about coverages and extra costs right there, without having to check in with the front desk. Alpenglow has its practices nailed down to a science! I also learned today that they offer free introductory visits for kids, with a focus on making it a fun visit and shake off any fear.

Alpenglow's is $100 to start then $35 a month which gets you 2 cleanings and x-rays each year and 15% off anything else. My x-rays were quite the adventure. I gagged one time which is normal for me. But the very nice and well-meaning hygienist wanted to help. She asked for a shaker of salt. Someone else in the office said she had one. She then comes over with a test tube of "salt" to put on my tongue to distract me so I wouldn't gag. I was highly suspicious... so I tasted some. It was citric acid. SO acidic it burned. They told me they were going to put a stripe of it on my tongue! So glad I stopped them! Just putting the story here so you can also stop them because wow that would have been awful if I'd just trusted them and had a mouthful of citric acid I expected to be a quick shake of salt. Besides that, I saw Jennifer Montgomery and really liked her. She taught me how to unlock my jaw which no one has ever taught me and I've had jaw issues since childhood. She did a thorough cleaning and didn't diagnose any problems that weren't there which is a huge problem in dentistry. Glad I found someone I can trust!

However, Dr Grieb was referred to me by a friend, so I had some hope. My visit today was GREAT and I will definitely be going back. The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient from the pre-appointment call to the end of my visit. I appreciated how they used technology to show me what they were seeing in my mouth. They also used those images to explain to me why they were making the recommendations and decisions they were making for my oral care. The hygienist Patrice was my favorite (no offense Dr Grieb). She kept checking to make sure she was not hurting me but also hurried because I told her I had another appointment I could not miss immediately after my dental appointment. She didn't let me leave until she knew my teeth were clean, but also made sure I got out of the chair in time to get where I needed to be. So I learned a lot, made it to my other important meeting plus my teeth are clean and sparkly too! What more can you ask for from a dental visit?

I've continued to be impressed with the welcoming nature of their front end staff(while I'm waiting a few minutes first thing in the am, I overhear their am staff meeting--communication about the daily flow also chatter/giggling at the end--I know from my hygienists that the Dr takes them on team building trips even out of country! It appears their team culture is strong/tight), the friendliness/efficiency/memory of many of their hygienists (every 6mo visit they'll always ask me about something specific in my life that I'd shared last time--they must take notes!), the friendliness and quality of care from Dr. Chelsea (always making sure there's nothing else I'd like addressed). I understand that offices have policies, but I was disappointed there was no flexibility or willingness to accommodate my situation, even with the understanding that I would complete X-rays after pregnancy. Preventive dental care, including cleanings, is especially important during pregnancy, which made this experience even more frustrating. I left feeling unheard and unsupported as a long-time patient. I hope the office will reconsider how they handle situations like this in the future so patients can make informed choices about their care while still receiving necessary treatment.

I thoroughly researched dental options and landed here with Dr. Kapp and Peak because of the 5 star reviews. I went in, he looked around and couldn't find anything structurally wrong and asked if I used whitening toothpaste. "Why, yes, I do!" He suggested I switch to a Sensitive teeth toothpaste and it's made a wonder of difference. Fast forward to this past Monday; I had my six month dental. The gal who checked me in (sorry not sure of the name) and the technician Melanie-were both lovely. The biggest surprise was that the Dr actually performed the cleaning! Usually it would be the technician in my experience. I cannot say how satisfied I was with this dentist! (PS..they have really nifty and modern x-ray machines that make the process fast an less uncomfortable, and you are in an office with a door and not in the middle of a noisy practice that has several open air stations.) Dr. DiGiulio and her team are the best that I've experienced in decades…read more I recently had two crowns replaced. My previous Bend dentist (not Dr DiGiulio, obviously) took five months to get one of those old crowns fitted properly. This involved multiple temporary crowns and much discomfort and inconvenience. As you can imagine, after such an awful experience with my prior dentist, I was not eager to get that crown replaced. But it had cracked, so I didn't have a choice. Unlike my prior dentist, Cornerstone has on-site equipment to custom-fit a crown while you wait, and it completely transformed the process this time around. I was delighted and amazed by Dr DiGiulio -- she is a genuine artist and dialed it in perfectly in a single visit! I will never be afraid of getting another crown again... as long as I'm in Dr. DiGiulio's hands. One more thing: I'm a former management consultant for a Big Five consultancy and I've spent years advising on optimizing team performance. It was even more of a pleasant surprise to watch Dr. DiGiulio and her dental assistants work together. Watching them in action felt like I was being worked on by a single person who just happened to have four hands. I've never seen such an efficient team -- it was as if they were communicating telepathically. To top it all off, today I had my front upper and lower teeth rebuilt. Years of wear from misalignment had ground them down badly. A morning in Dr. DiGiulio's chair has given me a whole new set of teeth.
