Our search for a home generator began with a candid, comprehensive assessment of our needs. Mr. Williams assured me a 26K unit would suffice (after earlier contractors pushed larger, much more expensive units). At every step, the process unfolded just as I was told. When the generator arrived, it was easy to set up the site visit to begin work. Dustin and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently and got the unit installed with no problems. Dustin walked me through that process as well. And when the gas company (finally) made the necessary connections, Dustin was back out to finish the job. Again, with great explanations and a step-by-step tutorial. When they finished, my yard looked even better than before they began the work. Masters Generator is tops in my book. It was a comfort to work with just one lead electrician. Dustin was knowledgeable, professional, and welcomed all my rookie questions. I took a chance on Master of Generators and Electrical Service and am happy that I did. I almost canceled because it was nearly 4 pm, and I hadn't heard from them since 2 pm. I wasn't confident Christian could finish the work before dinner time. When I called to cancel, a professional lady offered to get Christian and Jeremy's ETA, which went well. They apologized for running behind schedule. However, I am not off the hook because I should have believed MGES when they stated that the electricians would "arrive between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm," which I now know, in hindsight, they would have. Christian and Jeremy are fantastic electricians. They came through the door dripping with experience, confidence, and wonderful personalities. One worked on the hallway light fixture while the other tackled the dining room. When Christian put up the flush mount fixture for the hallway within 10 minutes, he joined Jeremy to help assemble a complex chandelier. That chandelier encompassed several bars to connect to eight lights. Despite my initial concerns, the task was completed in a remarkably short time, with the total service time being under an hour. Christian and Jeremy not only met but exceeded my expectations. Their service was impeccable, and the price I paid for such efficient and high-quality work was more than reasonable. He has personally built his own home and is capable of doing all kinds of repair and handyman work. Mr. Guevara went above & beyond to expertly install the new light fixture in spite of the fact that we mistakenly had the wrong bracket & screws. He immediately & quickly bought the correct bracket & screws at a local Home Depot, and although those screws were still too long (as opposed to ours which were too short) he used his metal cutting tool to cut the screws to the correct size. He was also very tidy as he left his shoes at the door, brought in his own moving pads to protect both our dining table and the floor, and swept up the work area afterwards. Mr. Guevara of Peach Handyman Services was always great at communicating to us very cheerfully from beginning to end from the first contact to the end of an expertly done job. He is prompt, professional, upbeat, and always demonstrates a very genuine desire to cheerfully do the desired job to our satisfaction and at a very fair and competitive price. I showed him to the breaker box in the garage and explained what I wanted. He took a few notes, asked a few questions, and said he'd send me the quote the next day. I have three houses, so this is the third home I've had a charger installed, so I'm familiar with the process and the price point. So, needless to say, I was appalled at the $2000 quote considering the standardness of the materials mentioned in the quote (except for the "etc."). More importantly, I was insulted that, having done no work in my home, he placed a sticker on my circuit box.
