The whole time working around painters and flooring contractors. Extreme flexible. My family moved to Atlanta recently and our second encounter with a honest contractor was Anthony, through a referral. Anthony. We had other licensed quotes that were apparently extremely inflated and they gave basic knowledge on way they would need to do work. Admittedly non tried to up sell but the difference came when I met Anthony. His approach was professional. He focused on the job and educating us thoroughly on what we asked. He gave information that armed us for a future state. He gave opinions when asked and was very sensitive to how he answered with honesty. He and his team were quiet while working and fun after they were done. They gave much respect to every member of my family. They proved out everything they where doing and set our expectations for what to expect, like there will be additional holes in the walls. An interesting encounter with Anthony was when we asked for referrals to help paint or patch holes; he answered that he answered that he only had individuals assist him that he appeared to trust explicitly. He mentioned that he holds himself professionally and morally accountable for every employee and referral and Jeremiah was just that. Anthony is my first call and someone I have to mention when I tell my Georgia relocation story.

I hired this electrician to service my home twice. Given the extent of the issues I discovered…read moreafter purchasing my home, I specifically made sure to hire a licensed electrician. After the initial service, I asked whether his work was covered by a warranty, and he told me it was covered for one year. I initially had no issues with his service. That changed when I brought an issue to his attention that he himself said could potentially create a fire hazard. Rather than addressing the concern promptly, he told me I would need to pay an additional travel fee because it was after hours and he was no longer in his work clothes. I understood that he had a schedule and declined the after-hours visit, then made an appointment for the following day. When he came out the next day, I again asked about the warranty on his work, and he again stated that it was one year. Within approximately two months, I experienced a relatively minor issue related to the prior service that had a reasonable fix. When I contacted him about it, however, he denied ever agreeing to a one-year warranty and would not honor what I had previously been told. That was extremely disappointing. My concern is not simply the cost of addressing the issue; it is that I relied on his representation that his work was covered for one year, only to have that position change when I actually needed the warranty. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting the terms of any warranty in writing before allowing work to begin, including exactly what is covered and for how long. I would also recommend getting any additional fees and service terms in writing. One additional note: much of our communication was through text, including messages that appeared to be generated or assisted by ChatGPT. Regardless of how the messages are produced, make sure the important terms of your agreement--including any warranty--are clearly documented in writing. My experience was that the warranty I was verbally promised was not honored when I needed it.
