When I first walked in, the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. If it were up to me, I would have walked right out, but the person I was meeting wanted to stay. The place was pretty empty, so we sat at the counter. The music was blasting so loudly that I could barely hear my companion. I asked the bartender if she could lower the volume, and to her credit, she did. I appreciated that, especially since this was a first time meeting and conversation was already awkward enough. We ordered drinks and were served right away. A few minutes later, the bartender dropped off the bill. I assumed it was just opening a tab, but she told us her shift was ending and that we needed to pay immediately. I've honestly never experienced that before. It put me in an uncomfortable position and felt rushed, especially since the bartender ended up staying around anyway. After a while, we decided to sit outside to continue talking. That's when things took a turn for the worse. A young man walked by and said something to my friend but wouldn't repeat it to me. He seemed upset. Later, he walked by again and said something else, so I asked what he said. He responded, "I'm sorry for saying his hair is long." My friend has long dreadlocks. I was confused, there was nothing to apologize for unless it was meant as an insult. I tried to diffuse the situation by joking that his hair was as long as mine and that the guy himself also had long hair. He continued apologizing in a way that felt very uncomfortable and strange. Then, unexpectedly, the same man walked by again, dropped a $20 bill, and said, "Drinks on me." Shortly after that, someone from inside opened the door and said, "You guys are still here? I thought you left three hours ago." That comment felt incredibly rude and unnecessary. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling unwelcome and targeted. Between the comments, the tone, and the behavior from multiple staff members, it came across as discriminatory and hostile. Whether they were owners or managers, the two women we interacted with were consistently rude as well. This is not a place I would return to or recommend.

I ordered this food for a very tired and overworked family member, hoping to provide a good meal, but I was embarrassed when they showed me what they received. The portions were insultingly small, the ingredients were lazily tossed in, and the overall presentation looked like something a gas station sandwich would put to shame. This is a blatant case of false advertising, and I'd strongly advise anyone considering ordering from them to save their money. At this price point, I expected something even remotely close to what was pictured. Instead, I got scammed. Avoid this place.

I met the owner's son Austin, who laid out the specifics for me. I have some gay friends that bowl here, save he let me know gay bowling leagues are Tues/Thurs, hetero/mix M/W/F. So do whatever your flavor is lol There's a great little sports bar attached, Sports Den Pub that has great newer TV's and looks like it's a good time with regular type locals for popular sporting events. The Alley has 20! Lanes built in late 1950's and has all the classic makings of a regular old bowling alley. Everything seemed to be in excellent shape except for the bowling balls. Many were very beaten up, had massive pitting, and many could use replacement. However, I was able to find a couple of good balls and challenge my elderly father to the best of three games. -We had no problem setting up the games or with scoring. (My 86 year old Dad beat me BTW) lol :/ Games were $16 each with bowling shoes included. That is about the going rate that we would pay up in the tri-state, New England area these days. I had a great experience at Manor lanes. It is my closest bowling alley and it's got all the makings of a classic bowling alley, including bar type food and a decent Sports bar. Perfection for me, reminded me of the alleys I spent my childhood in. My dad who has bowled for over 70 years liked it as well, except for the condition of the balls. I'm looking forward to going back to Manor Lanes to bowl a few frames, and possibly get in on a league as a substitute :)

I came to The Billiard Club expecting a great night of pool. Instead I spent approximately 30 minutes dealing with a disruptive individual playing next to us whose behavior continued to escalate. Once I saw the disruption affecting other patrons and people beginning to move away from the area I gave management a heads up because I believed the situation had reached the point where it needed to be professionally handled. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The situation continued to escalate until it eventually turned into one of the most humiliating experiences I've ever had in a business. I left feeling publicly ridiculed completely unsupported and most importantly UNSAFE as the disruptive person I warned them about, attacked me. Jason the bartender "manager" eventually became involved but from my perspective & anyone else who witnessed it, nothing about his response de-escalated the situation. If anything the environment became even MORE chaotic because of him. In a business built around hospitality and customer experience I expected leadership that knew how to calm a situation...NOT allow it to continue & also disrupt the tournament that was taking place... super unfair to the players & patrons in general who came to have a good time. The only people who showed me any sense of kindness or made me feel even remotely safe that night were Shay and Jared. I genuinely appreciated them. I waited 2 weeks before writing this because I wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt. I had heard from multiple people that if the general manager Michael knew what had happened things would be handled differently So I went back last night... I went back because I'm a pool player and I refused to let 1 terrible experience take away a game I've loved my entire life.. besides being a born & raised local girl. I asked to introduce myself to Michael but that hasn't happened yet. Businesses can't control every customer. They absolutely can control how they respond when a customer warns them that a situation is escalating and other patrons are being affected. No one should ever walk into a pool hall expecting to enjoy the game they love and leave feeling UNSAFE, unsupported and publicly humiliated. I sincerely hope this serves as a wake-up call for management because no customer should have the experience I did. I managed night clubs and restaurants for 15+ years from hole in the walls to high end venues in Broward county & this still takes the cake for worlds worst experience from "management" Shay & Jared are the only ones who have some sense at least.. maybe they should teach the others on staff how to be hospitable. Ladies (especially)... be careful going here.
