Wings Beer Balls ... all pretty good. I can't play pool to save my life but on a rainy Monday I was in the area and remember seeing a post about their 56 cent wings. I pull into the packed parking lot and greeted by some friendly smoking patrons on the outside. Inside people are split between tables and the big screen tvs. Near seen so many Bear fans at a bar in south Florida. The whole venue is neat and organized. I park myself at the bar, start chatting with a neighbor, grab a few Jack Daniels on the rocks, and order the minimum 10 wings. Drinks come out fast - that's why I got a few. I was late in the 3rd before the wings appear. Big, juice, and the sauces were good. Best would be the Hot Honey Garlic and the Hot Honey BBQ. Neither really that hot but plenty of flavor. Waitress was friend and quickly wrapped up the rest for great left overs for work the next day. Very casual and chill spot. Definitely pop in and experience it for yourself. read more

Went to Classic Billiards on Thursday for their special and the place was definitely busy. The wings were tasty, though not quite warm enough--maybe the sauce played a role in that. The fries, on the other hand, came out warm and crispy, which was a nice balance. I had a beer along with a Jack Daniel's, and the prices were solid: wings at just 56 cents each and my Jack for $5. I figured it was time for my daughter to learn how to shoot pool while drinking beer. Well, in her case root beer. So I was looking for a place that is not too busy on an early Saturday afternoon, where we can spend a couple of hours going over the basics of a pool game, like which end of a clue should be used, why is a triangle is called a triangle, why the chalk should not be used on the face, and what is that doo-hickie thing with a knuckle brass at the end of it. For that purpose, Classic Billiards was absolutely the perfect place for us. Many tables, $10 per person, unlimited time, a bar that served food, and they allowed kids under 18 until 10 pm. So we managed to have a productive days without anyone getting poked in the eye, or breaking any of the cues, even though the temptation was there to use them as light sabers, because it was true when I said "I am your father" I am sure the place picks up later at night, but we might just become regulars on Saturday afternoons, and hear "hello Norm" when we walk in the bar. read more

I discovered Classic Billiards in Lauderhill Fl. through Micah Doc  Daugherty, the Treasure Coast TAP League Operator. Doc told me and my teammates that Classic is a first class billiard hall and WOW ! , He was spot on. The place is amazing. Gorgeous Diamond 9 & 7 foot tables with all new style Aramith "Black" pool balls. The layout is perfect with plenty of room to play uninterrupted. The full bar and awesome menu is great with the best wings and smash burgers you can find. The owners are absolutely terrific hosts as well. Classic is in my opinion the best pool hall you will find anywhere in Florida and beyond. Believe me, I have played in some crappy places but Classic Billiards will not disappoint. My team and I travel an hour and a half to play at Classic and we have met several pros there such as Shane Van Boneing, Scott Frost, The Hatchetman, and we look forward to this Saturday going to see Earl Strickland and in November, Jesus Atencio. Where else can you find all of this ? I give Classic Billiards of Lauderhill Fl. a strong 5 and I would give them a 10 if possible. I went to this place and I had a white girl with me and my sleeves were sleeveless and the white young lady behind the counter says sir I don't believe my owner wants you in this business with a sleeveless shirt; do you have a different shirt? I looked around the room and the only difference in the the other people in the bar was they was all white and I was the only black man; she never got the owner on the phone; there's was no dress code posted; I have yet to discuss this incident with a lawyer but its no doubt I was discriminately told to change my shirt or no entry was allowed! 2025 and we still dealing with overt racism read more

Cool hangout spot to just grab a few beers late at night and play some pool. They don't play music consistently, although they have a jukebox with a wide range of songs offered that customers can create their own playlist to play. When that playlist runs out the next customer's playlist queues and so forth. It's actually pretty neat because you have the ability to change the vibe of the entire pool hall for a fairly moderate price. Only downfall is I wish they sold hard liquor. read more

Casual pool hall that doesn't sell hard liquor. My friend ordered a shot of vodka and said it was practically like water. This place is not the worst pool hall hat I've been to. The smoke smell is minimal and they also have a ping pong table as well. It's $10 for unlimited pool play and the drinks are decently priced. I came here on a Wednesday night around 6:30 and my group was the only one there. Not sure when this place starts to ramp up, if it ever does. read more

I would go here often a couple of years ago because the pool was cheap ($6 dollars an hour) and they would have a kill the keg night for $10 every week. They also have a ping pong table. The beer tastes bad probably because of poorly maintained taps but for $10 I couldn't complain. However they decided to up the cost of pull to I think $12 an hour and got rid of the kill the keg night. My friends and I refused to go back since they upped their price but not their quality. Example: The tables haven't been re-felted in years except for about 4 that they use for pool tournaments; the juke box is horrible and outdated unless you like listening to Eminem Superman song all night which I shit you not that happened almost every night. The juke box would take your money and play whatever it felt like. Smoking is allowed inside but the ventilation inside is so bad that if feels like you are in a car where everyone is smoking with the windows rolled up. Also like I mentioned before the beer taste bad. Every time we went there and ordered a pitcher of Miller Lite it would taste different. I was gonna give it two stars but remembering how bad this place was I had to give it one or none. The only thing it used to have going for it were the cheap prices but they got rid of that. Still decently priced but not worth it unless you love to listen to rap albums from 2000-2004 repeated over and love smelling like an ashtray when you leave. If you want laughs and great service, then you came to the right spot! You never know what will happen on a Friday night!!!! You may see people break dancing or just dancing by the DJ booth, a group of people doing or teaching some customers a soca style dance, a country line dance, or maybe it's someone's birthday and you sing happy birthday and have a slice of birthday cake! Ghetto, Ratchet and NASTY!!! The bartenders are crack heads and ignore guests sitting at the bar. I have been 4 times in the last 2 weeks and their posted hours are bogus. You walk in at midnight and they say "we're closed" now mind you the door is unlocked, sign says open till 2 am and the bartenders are sitting at the bar drinking. well things changed for the better i see. billiards place mus'tve read the Christopher's opinion and made improvements... relaced the old jukebox to a NEW digital one that has every song on it.... connected to a Bose surround sound system. Kill the keg night is back. and to my surprise, unlimited pool play for $6-7 a person- EVERYDAY!! I'd give it zero stars if I could. Place was dead. I came in twice first time it was dead, second time it was dead. On top of that the smokers in that place don't make it any better. I come home smelling like a carton of cigarettes. They don't even have real liquor they have cheap crap that gives you a headache. And they 5 dollars for 1 beer, ridiculous. Bucket deal? Not even a deal. The bartender was nice she was honestly the only decent thing about the place even apologized for how crappy everything was, sad that even the employee knows.
