I love a good dive bar, and the Mis Cue did not fail me. It has been taken over and revamped from what I knew of back in the day. Plenty of pool tables, (waiting on the return of a dart board or 2), music, good people, and great drinks! There are plenty of TVs and I enjoyed the UFC matches while sitting comfortably at the bar. I lived in Oakland park my whole life and never knew this place existed. We were across the street eating when the waitress told us about the bar across the street. Came here with my boyfriend 30 minutes before they officially opened and the bar tender still let us in. The atmosphere was awesome, they have a good size bar, and a nice lounge area. They had posters for Funday Sundays so I will definitely have to check that out. Good prices for drinks and they even have bar food. Definitely will be coming back. Spoke to the bartender and found out they are under new ownership. The place definitely isn't what it was based on those previous Yelp pictures. read more

My wife and I were not familiar with Mis-Cue previously and sort of stumbled across it while driving through the area. We have a billiards venue near us on Oakland Park Blvd but the prices to play are pretty high. We decided to give Mis-Cue a shot one night and had a nice time. We went during the 5-7 happy hour and there was a fairly decent crowd of people; apparently it was a league event going on so there were lots of people playing on teams. But even so, we still were able to get a table immediately and begin having fun playing. Drinks are reasonably priced and the music was varied. They have Touch-Tunes (industry standard) so people can either pay to play certain songs or the songs play randomly. They also have a DJ play on certain nights during the late night hours on the weekends. The tables are in pretty good condition and the venue itself is kept clean. It's basically your old school "neighborhood pool hall" which gives it a very cool feel. And there's no smoking inside so you can actually breathe and not leave smelling like a pack of cigarettes which is a definite plus. All in all, a definite "recommend" and we'll continue going for our fun date nights. read more

This is a pretty local area near alot of commercial places and warehouses so alot of locals visit. Always a great vibe very relaxing. The bar serves beer and wine. The bar area has chips and small finger foods cooked to order such as fries. The inside is very well kept nice and clean. A smoke free atmosphere for those like me who can't really tolerate the smoke. The place has 6 to 8 pool tables all in great condition. A music box (juke box) , a television as well. All the patrons are super friendly as well. Its great to stumble across local gems like this in your own backyard. I've been there 4 times, and the clientele is friendly, and the overall feel of the place is chill. I don't like noisy bars where you have to yell just to have a conversation. Parking can be a little limited during the busy times, but otherwise it's easy to get to. Pay no attention to that one star review.
