Had a water hammer problem that no one was able to solve. Until these folks showed up. Previous diagnoses included "maybe it's the pressure regulator". Replacing that did not fix the problem, and cost $400. Next up, "maybe it is the irrigation valves". $1350 and didn't fix the problem. Finally I gave mastercraft plumbers a call. The tech showed up next morning, I explained the issue, and the tech did what no other was able to, pin it on a worn out toilet flush valve. Rather than charge me, he told me it was a DIY job, and $20 later, I installed and configured the new toilet valve myself. And the water hammer went away. Charge for the advice? Nothing. I even offered to pay for the advice, but he just smiled and said "no worries". I don't expect my next plumbing need to be so easy, or given freely, but I will be calling mastercraft again. Master Craft sent Daniel to install a new kitchen faucet and a non-electrical bidet for me. Both Daniel's demeanor and professionalism were outstanding. The kitchen faucet install went smoothly but due to limited space behind my toilet he was unable to connect the bidet without removing the toilet for an additional charge. He offered to come back with an attachment that would solve the problem and save me money. That sort of consideration was so appreciated! Do not hire these guys! We paid this company almost $20,000 to replace our main sewer line in May, 2023 because our line was draining very slowly and the cast iron pipe was falling apart. Now, less than 2 years later, we are having the same slow draining problem again. This time we had a different plumber (a trusted family friend) come out to fix our problem who said the plumbers who replaced our sewer line (MasterCraft) ran a 3" line to a 4" line and then to a 3" line. The new plumber said that you should never run a large diameter line (4") into a smaller diameter line (a 3") because it causes a bottleneck and a clogging hazard! They also took other shortcuts. It was specified in the contract that they were going to haul all of the old cast iron line out of our crawl space, but they only hauled out the smaller pieces and left the heavier pieces down in our crawl space. The fact that MasterCraft charged us so much for such a bad job and that we now have to pay even more money to another plumber to make sure the job gets done correctly is infuriating! In short, not hire this company! read more

I accidentally drilled a hole into a water pipe in my downstairs bedroom. I reached out to MasterCraft Plumbers and Ahmad A. was out here in less than an hour on a Sunday to diagnose the problem. It turns out that I had actually pierced the fire sprinkler system and Ahmad was very helpful in explaining what steps I needed to take to get this resolved. He then replaced a PRV, hose Bibb, 3 outdoor leaky faucets and an auto-fill pool valve - also leaky. He made really clean connections and everything is working great. Leak free. I had great communication from him, and James and Amanda as well. I missed a text from him - easy typo - but won't fault him for that as it happens. Eddie came by within a day of me putting in a request and found the source of a sink leak. He was diligent and showed me what was going on. He also inspected the other sinks in the house and gave me a recommendation to do a similar repair as more leaks could arise. Eddie was prompt, quick, and cleaned up everything. Took his shoes off in the house and was very respectful that I was working while he was there. If this review was just for Eddie I would give 6/5 stars! However, this Thursday I had scheduled maintenance to fix the angle stops and toilets. Two different men came to do the repair. Landon and Juan. It seems that Landon may be newer or an apprentice and Juan more senior. They both came in and just trekked through the house in their gear, never asking if they should remove their boots to go upstairs on the carpet. Did the service and then came down and said ok we're done bye. I go upstairs to my bathroom later that day and there are stained wet rags all around the toilet, garbage can is not put back, and garbage from parts under the sink. I was never asked if there was a garbage bag they could use - would have gladly supplied them with whatever they needed. They also left a Milwaukee tool lamp here. Seems they were out in a hurry which tells me either something went wrong they don't want to disclose or they were running behind and overbooked services - neither make me feel confident in service received. Prior to this visit I would have 100% recommended MasterCraft, but it seems there are varying degrees of service depending on the tech.Maybe this is due to inexperience, but there is definitely a need for some training here. Definitely expected better with the cost of service paid. read more

MasterCraft Plumbers answered our request for an estimate rapidly. Eddie came out the following day and gave us an estimate to replace the main house valve, pressure regulator and associated pipes and fittings. Their estimate seemed reasonable and then Eddie suggested we could add an electronic shut off in case of broken pipe or fixtures within the house. Eddie also told us about a whole house water filtration system, but we may wait on that installation. We later decided to go ahead with the filtration system and we were offered financing, which we took. When Eddie finished installing the entire system in one day, he told us how to install the software on our phones and also how to use it. The installation process was smooth and Eddie and the rest of the crew was professional. We will use MasterCraft in the future. Job well done! read more
