Master craft did a great job explaining the options with pros and cons of each, and took their time to answer all our questions without pressuring us either way. We went with MC to do an upgrade for a tankless system. They were able to prioritize us and come out that week! The technician Jacob worked extremely hard and did fine craftsmanship. He put in our new system and walked us through all the changes and improvements. In addition, he installed a utility sink where the old hot water tank was. Unfortunately, there was a small hiccup with the drain due to it being connected to an old pipe that broke, not his fault. Instead of stressing me out about it, he took care of it professionally and ensured top quality upon completion. In fact, the owner of MC Joe even contacted my wife and I to check in and make sure we were satisfied given the hiccup encountered. It was a great experience working with the MC team. read more

This is an updated review on Turner B their lead plumbing technician who works for MasterCraft Plumbers. I had an issue after this MOEN Adler Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet was installed yesterday. This issue is, I was not able to access this new MOEN Adler Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet because for some reason, there was no water that came out of it. This was after Turner their Lead Plumbing Technician from MasterCraft Plumbers left my home. This morning I called and I spoke to Chris this answering service specialist and I explained this situation with Chris in me not being able to access this new MOEN Adler Kitchen Faucet because there was no water coming out of this faucet. I asked Chris , can she send a message to Brett their dispatcher and let him know my issue and to ask Turner B. to come over to my house and check out this issue to resolve this problem. Another minor issue was that Turner B. he accidentally had taken this manual for the MOEN Adler Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Installation with him when he was going to throw away the old kitchen faucet part and the box. I always keep the manuals and the Lowe's Sales Receipt for my own reference and my protection in case I have any issues with this new kitchen faucet. We got the infamous letter in the mail, informing us that our insurance company wasn't going to renew our policy because we had a water leak in the past and we needed to put in a home leak detection system and an automatic shutoff. After we were done panicking, I came to Yelp and put in a request for a plumber. I had many replies but we decided to go with MasterCraft Plumbers. They offered a free estimate and were able to come out the very next morning. Manuel came out and let us know the cost and we made an appointment for the work to be done the next day. Manuel started the job and then Eddie came out to help. They finished the job but unfortunately when they left, there was a problem with the actual leak detector box. We own a condo in North County. Our neighbors called to say there was water coming out of the garage. They opened the garage door and discovered that the water heater had literally blown apart. Water was gushing everywhere. I called MasterCraft and their dispather sent Travis G out to the rescue. He arrived, quickly assessed the situation, and shut off the water supply. He told me it was a rare circumstance, 1 in 50, where the waterheater literally blew apart. He disconnected the water heater, put a cap on the supply line and a valve on the hot water side. Then he could turn the water back on which supplies 6 condos in our building. Travis talked to me, detailed the situation, and even recommended a restoration company (who came right away) that he had used. He then gave me a very fair quote for a new water heater to be installed when the restoration folks are ready for it. Minimal to no responsive, poor customer service - would not use or trust. Called MasterCraft on Thursday night for tech the next morning. Tech came on time (about 0830 Friday morning), looked at the water heater then said parts need replacing. He thought I was going to order the parts from Bradford White (first bad assumption). Secondly, I heard nothing from MasterCraft Plumbers all day unless I called them. I finally called them a second time around 3pm, still without an estimate or status of parts or anything else, and the only thing they told me was the tech had to cover for another tech and was very busy. Tech finally responded to tell me he had no additional information and "had been trying all day". At 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon, I moved onto another plumbing company. While working on foundation repairs, my contractor hit a small water line below grade. The first plumbing company to respond attempted to upsell me to a full-house repipe. When I said no, they refused to make the repair. We then called MasterCraft, who responded quickly after hours. Edgar repaired the line in no time and, when he noticed my downstairs (only) water pressure was low, went above and beyond to clean two clogged faucet aerators which resolved that problem too. Love this company. I have used them many times. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed the plumbing side yet. My mobile home had a nasty egg smell in the kitchen and it was only when the water was running. They came out and cleared my drain. Fixed the problem, I didn't even realize a clog was the problem because water wasn't backing out. I can't say the price was the best as I've seen ads for cheaper drain clearing but it was still reasonable and not an issue to pay. Our water heater started having problems so I had a tech come out. He offered great advice and was pleasant as all the employees with mastercraft. They also have experts for manufactured homes so you will feel at ease as some plumbing and repair issues are different than other homes. Free and quick estimates makes it a 5 star. I also appreciate the professionalism and respect for customers that I have experienced and it shows in some of the other reviews of people who have had minor issues. I used another division of mastercraft and had a disappointing first impression. After the MasterCraft plumber, JJ, removed the toilet it was apparent that the floor flange was bad (probably the original) and needed to be replaced. JJ took care of it, and my renter fell in love with JJ's Customer service. And, communication was great because I live about 90 miles from our rental.
