They told us they'd be there in 15-20 minutes, which sounded fine. Almost 2 hours later, they finally show up. When the locksmith arrived, he was condescending and rude, like we were the problem for needing help in the first place. After waiting that long, the last thing we needed was attitude. I contacted Emtek and asked them for the MSRP of the product they installed. The MSRP for the unit from the factory is $311! I highly recommend Gary from Bob's Lock, Safe, and Key!…read more Gary showed up promptly on the morning after Christmas to help me get into my new-to-me truck after the battery had been completely drained (my fault) and my sole key wouldn't turn the driver's door manual lock. Gary diagnosed the issue quickly, cut a new sturdy metal key to force the lock open (as a temporary workaround), thereby protecting my only key from potential damage, and he coordinated with their shop to order a replacement lock, the permanent fix for a known issue with my make & model, which I can have installed at their shop in a few days. Gary also jumped/charged my vehicle's battery for 10 minutes so it had enough power for him to program two new fob keys, at a very reasonable price, and he counseled me regarding how long it would take to fully charge my battery, both via highway driving and by A/C charger.
