Gave them a call and gave me a great price quote over the phone! No BS like "we have to see it first" or anything like that and a lot cheaper than most places. You do have to have somebody else remove your tires off the rims first however. Fernando and his brother have been in the biz for over 8 years. Took a look at his work and was impressed. Dropped off my set of rims and got them back a few days later. Basically he sends it out to get it stripped of the previous coat, gets them back the next day or so and works on it. 3 day turn around is pretty good. He's pretty detail oriented about his work. If he doesn't like it, then he'll redo it. I had my rims powder coated in matte black which is 20% gloss, 80% flat. Love it! Thanks again and highly recommend! You make a potential customer wait 3 full days for a response, then hit them with an impossible 15-minute ultimatum during peak traffic hours? That's not customer service; that's pure arrogance. They used the $50 deposit to lose a customer instead of giving time or more options to pay since I waited 3 full days to even be contacted. You don't build long-term value by treating people like this. You make your money from repeat business and referrals, not one rushed sale that alienates everyone. All this did was guarantee I'll never come back and actively pushed me straight to your competitor, which turned out to be a way better experience. He was responsive, professional, no pressure tactics. All anyone has to do is look on Yelp: the guy who is second with 718 five-star reviews is the one to go to. There's a reason you multiple accounts with reviews: the inconsistency shows. One bad interaction like this costs you a customer forever and now a negative review that future people will see. How you treat people matters just as much as (if not more than) the product or service. This experience screamed "we don't value you until you pay," and it backfired spectacularly. What's more, Colin (the owner's son) is incredibly honest. The first estimate he gave me included about $1,500 for a clear coat he said was needed for the color I chose. I signed the estimate and paid 1/2 for the deposit. Then Colin called me to say that he wouldn't need to do the clear coat after all, so he was taking that money off the second payment and sending me a new invoice. So many businesses wouldn't have bothered doing this once the client signed and agreed, since they could have pocketed the additional money and I would have been none the wiser. Not these guys! Given that experience, and the finished product, I recommend these nice, honest, small-business owners 1,000%. CFR Patio isn't cheap, but it is more than worth it if you have pricey patio furniture, since redoing my 25 pieces of furniture cost about the same as buying 4-5 replacement chairs. Oh, and their delivery guys are incredibly nice and helpful. Helped me move around the furniture more than once to get it all back the way I wanted. Really can't say enough good things about CFR!
