although ive only been there for a consultation, i find their staff very gracious :] the lady who conducted my consultation was really friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. i met the dr. lingenbrink, and i like him a lot! he was super friendly and was just so nice! hes not like one of those mean "lets get this over with" doctors. ive not have any servies from them. i was there for a quote on how much invisalign would cost for me and they quoted me a pretty high cost. the national average is $5,000, they quoted me $6200. more than 20% more than the national average. ive yet to decide what my next step is, but i have to say that this office was incredibly accommodating and the doctor is fabulous! read more

Zero stars! Terrible, unprofessional and unqualified. He borders on racial discrimination towards non Hispanic. He made personal call to me complaining of his finances and implied we were part of the problem since we were using Medicaid. He turned a tooth completely backwards with negligent care and then blew it off like it was no big deal. He was rough and hurt the mouth during appts and when he was asked to be more gentle he got very angry and petulant claiming that he was and then refused to talk to us, not just that appt but the remaining last few appointments. His staff were young new grads and changed often. They would roll their eyes when he came by and try and make excuses for him when he had bad tempers. Don't go. Mainly because there were other issues he screwed up on with the braces which caused treatment to be longer but then he removed the braces early because he had maxed out Medicare and because he simply didn't like us. read more

I just want to start this review out by saying this is my first time ever leaving a negative review in my 30 years. I have taken an adequate amount of time to make sure I can give an accurate review. My daughter first started her treatment at master orthodontic's in May of 2024, over the next 7 months there she had broken brackets almost every month, which was really hindering her progress. I wasn't positive if it was something she was doing wrong, or if the brackets were not being applied correctly. What I was told by many of the orthodontist assistants, was that they could identify by looking if it was a "hard" or "soft" break, hard being the patients fault, and soft being an issue with the application of the bracket. Twice in these 7 months I was told it was a hard break. I don't know the exact amount of times she had a broken bracket, but it was much more than 2. Finally in the 7th month, she went in and had yet another broken bracket. I expressed my concern to the assistant, simply stating I was worried about the fact that her brackets kept breaking and that she was hardly making any progress in this long amount of time, beings they couldn't move on to the next phases with her brackets consistently breaking. After expressing my concern, they brought Dr. Carlos over to speak with me (which I didn't ask for) but I was hopeful to get some advice, answers, etc. I expressed to him calmly that I was concerned about the number of breaks, lack of progress and said honestly that I was fully aware it could be completely my daughters fault but that I was just frustrated and wondered if there was anything I could do. He let me know that it had to be her fault and that he had no advice for me but that I was welcome to go to a new office. I was pretty shocked at that answer, in all these months I had never questioned anything and it felt pretty disheartening that when I finally did bring up 1 concern I was met with "you can change orthodontists" even though I was very honest that it could very well be my daughters fault. I told him I didn't wish to change orthodontists, thanked him, and made a follow up appt as usual. Fast forward maybe 2 weeks later, I received a letter from Carlos basically saying we are not welcome at his office anymore because he only wanted people there that raved about him and trusted him. He then went on to let me know in the letter about how he takes state insurance (which is what we have) as a service to the community, which I didn't feel was necessary for him to let me know, it felt to me as if he was trying to insinuate to me we were charity work and I should've been thankful and never questioned due to that. State insurance or not, he is still getting paid and I don't believe us having state insurance had any relevance in the letter. I did try to call and talk with him, but the receptionist told me that he just says we aren't a "right fit". I was genuinely confused and shocked but had to focus on getting my daughter new care. Because we do have state assistance, it was really hard to find her new care getting kicked out so abruptly. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, we've been with our new orthodontist for 7 months now and have not had ONE SINGLE broken bracket. This is why I waited to make this review, I figured this would be the only true test to know if it were my daughters fault, or an error in application.. she has made SO much progress, I'm aloud to ask any question without any of the employee's getting their ego/pride hurt (that's what I truly believe this was about) One big difference I have noticed between the offices, is the assistants have been in practice for 10, 20, 30 years. While at master, most of them are young. I'm truly so disappointed in not only the care we received at Master Orthodontist, but the way we were kicked out for simply asking a question. Especially if you are on state insurance, be very careful bringing your child here. The process of switching office's is a lengthy one, you have to do the entire process over again and run the risk of your child being denied care by the insurance even if they already have their braces on. I know Dr. Carlos knows how the process goes and I felt he did it spitefully because I questioned him. Luckily it turned out to be for the best for us, but I just felt obligated to warn others about our negative experience and hope no one else has to go through the same. read more

Lack of communication from the office. My daughter had an appointment on 10/3/2022. We get there and they tell me we do not have an appointment. I received a text message on Monday before, the day before, and the day of October 20 reminding me of the appointment. I did not have anything else scheduled, so I know I did not cancel the appointment. They said there was nothing that can they do. If we miss an appointment, they want to charge you $50, but fail to compensate you when they screw up. What a bunch of douchebags. The other thing that is annoying is that they are only open 2 days a week in certain location and it becomes a pain trying to get bracing on and off because we often have to go to multiple locations read more

I wish I could leave a one star review. I never leave reviews, but I HAD to leave review for this business. DO NOT GO HERE. Carlos, the orthodontist, appears to only be out for the money. You could tell that it was a very hostile environment the moment you walked in. He was terrible to his employees right in front of me. I felt so sorry for this girl and I hope she quits. From previous reviews, it doesn't look like they last long. This guy is on a power trip and doesn't treat his patients that great either. Don't miss a payment or else he's gonna rip those braces right off. I'll be finding a new orthodontist. I hope you don't go here. read more

If I could give no star- I would. Beware of this orthodontist clinic. I took my special needs son there for braces. When I advocated for him, spoke up and asked for more clarity on additional procedures- they were not receptive. Instead of trying to improve, apologize and move on- they said they will refund my money and take my son elsewhere. As a strong advocate for my son and someone who does not tolerate poor costumer service, shame on them for putting braces on my kid then not being able to solve the problem and complete his treatment. read more

I didn't get the best impression from the dentist and it really surprises me that they can basically "repo" your braces over a late payment. I have been very happy with Lingenbrinks care for my son. He's been going there for the past year and a half or so, not including when he was in the kid's club to keep an eye on when he would need to get braces. The people there have always been kind and we have never had to wait more then 10 minutes in the waiting area to be seen. Since his braces have been removed they make sure to keep an eye out on his teeth to make sure everything still is going well. Unfortunately my son's permanent retainer broke so one of his teeth shifted significantly so we'll be going back soon for some front brackets. Thankfully we know he'll get the care he deserves. read more

I went here back in 2007 to get braces. I wore my bands religiously and I brushed, as well as floss, all the time. My gums are very sensitive and were quite puffy during the entire time. I would constantly be scolded for not doing proper cleaning. My teeth are also very slow and I was finally getting in my last molars. Considering I saw him almost every week, he knew about it, but then seemed surprised when my teeth started shifting.... Finally, 3 years later I got them off. My wisdom teeth had to be removed so I was unable to wear my retainer for a few weeks. Therefore, it did not fit later on. My dentist that performed the surgery was right across the street, so they kept in touch. When I was told I would need to pay $300 for each (top & bottom) retainer I was appalled, even my dentist. My sister was in dental assisting at the time and she even said it's only about $20 to make them.. I was very upset by my entire care at this place. Overpriced and poor quality. read more

I love Lingenbrink Orthodontics! I've been coming for over 8 months and have been happy every time. They're very accommodating to my schedule, the staff is very personable and helpful. I started my treatment with Invisalign a few years back with Dr. Paul Lingenbrink, the office was always friendly but I have to admit I was not so compliant with my treatment wearing Invisalign (my own fault, I know) but it was coming to an end and I was not in love with my teeth just yet, so that time Dr Caballero (Dr. Carlos) came into the office to take over when Dr. Lingenbrink's practice. My last appt for Invisalign is when I met Dr Carlos, he immediately knew I was not happy with my teeth and the whole Invisalign treatment. He went above and beyond on helping me transition into braces, he gave me a VERY good deal I could not refuse on starting braces just so I could be happy with my smile. Since then I make sure I do all I can to keep these braces and my teeth healthy. Every visit I go into Dr. Carlos is always positive upbeat and just so knowledgeable. He makes sure you are happy with your treatment. I can't wait to see the final results!! From the bottom of my heart I wanted to thank him and his wonderful staff and for not giving up on my teeth like I was about too! They are looking amazing! A couple more months to go:D read more

I got an email from their current manager asking me if I would update my review since they no longer have the associate that did my perm. retainer. Funnily enough, he is not the only reason I would never suggest them. Its only been maybe 10 years since I had braces, I wore my retainers but yet my teeth shifted since I had wisdom teeth and things of that nature. I came in to see if Dr Lingenbrink would be willing to give some kind of discount since my bottom teeth are crowded like they were before braces, he in a nice way accused me of not wearing my retainers or that I should have run in ASAP when they got a tad tight. I told him my whole story and my best friend who also went to him has it even worse, her whole jaw/mouth shifted and she is not happy and also wore her retainers. Anywho, he basically expected me to fork over another couple grand to fix my teeth that should still be straight. Not happening! If I will pay anyone to fix my teeth it wont be this office! I think if you are a honest to goodness good person who stands by his work then he should be willing to fix what he missed. Considering there should have been at least 1 more permanent retainer that he didnt do the first time around and he said this time around he would use another, told me everything. He messed up, but instead of fixing it he wants me to pay out. Not only that but now I am an adult, so dental insurance never covers orthodontic work on adults, so it would be totally out of pocket. My son's mouth was complicated. Like, super complicated! He was congenitally missing several permanent teeth and had another permanent tooth coming in at an angle I would have thought impossible had I not seen it with my own eyes on an x-ray. Not only were they able to keep the mutant tooth and make it behave, they gave him one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. He gets complimented by total strangers on his perfect teeth. I want to laugh because if they only could have seen the "before" shot! I highly recommend Dr. Lingenbrink and his staff. If they could take my son's mouth and make it look fabulous, I'm confident they can handle anything! read more
