I just want to start this review out by saying this is my first time ever leaving a negative review in my 30 years. I have taken an adequate amount of time to make sure I can give an accurate review. My daughter first started her treatment at master orthodontic's in May of 2024, over the next 7 months there she had broken brackets almost every month, which was really hindering her progress. I wasn't positive if it was something she was doing wrong, or if the brackets were not being applied correctly. What I was told by many of the orthodontist assistants, was that they could identify by looking if it was a "hard" or "soft" break, hard being the patients fault, and soft being an issue with the application of the bracket. Twice in these 7 months I was told it was a hard break. I don't know the exact amount of times she had a broken bracket, but it was much more than 2. Finally in the 7th month, she went in and had yet another broken bracket. I expressed my concern to the assistant, simply stating I was worried about the fact that her brackets kept breaking and that she was hardly making any progress in this long amount of time, beings they couldn't move on to the next phases with her brackets consistently breaking. After expressing my concern, they brought Dr. Carlos over to speak with me (which I didn't ask for) but I was hopeful to get some advice, answers, etc. I expressed to him calmly that I was concerned about the number of breaks, lack of progress and said honestly that I was fully aware it could be completely my daughters fault but that I was just frustrated and wondered if there was anything I could do. He let me know that it had to be her fault and that he had no advice for me but that I was welcome to go to a new office. I was pretty shocked at that answer, in all these months I had never questioned anything and it felt pretty disheartening that when I finally did bring up 1 concern I was met with "you can change orthodontists" even though I was very honest that it could very well be my daughters fault. I told him I didn't wish to change orthodontists, thanked him, and made a follow up appt as usual. Fast forward maybe 2 weeks later, I received a letter from Carlos basically saying we are not welcome at his office anymore because he only wanted people there that raved about him and trusted him. He then went on to let me know in the letter about how he takes state insurance (which is what we have) as a service to the community, which I didn't feel was necessary for him to let me know, it felt to me as if he was trying to insinuate to me we were charity work and I should've been thankful and never questioned due to that. State insurance or not, he is still getting paid and I don't believe us having state insurance had any relevance in the letter. I did try to call and talk with him, but the receptionist told me that he just says we aren't a "right fit". I was genuinely confused and shocked but had to focus on getting my daughter new care. Because we do have state assistance, it was really hard to find her new care getting kicked out so abruptly. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, we've been with our new orthodontist for 7 months now and have not had ONE SINGLE broken bracket. This is why I waited to make this review, I figured this would be the only true test to know if it were my daughters fault, or an error in application.. she has made SO much progress, I'm aloud to ask any question without any of the employee's getting their ego/pride hurt (that's what I truly believe this was about) One big difference I have noticed between the offices, is the assistants have been in practice for 10, 20, 30 years. While at master, most of them are young. I'm truly so disappointed in not only the care we received at Master Orthodontist, but the way we were kicked out for simply asking a question. Especially if you are on state insurance, be very careful bringing your child here. The process of switching office's is a lengthy one, you have to do the entire process over again and run the risk of your child being denied care by the insurance even if they already have their braces on. I know Dr. Carlos knows how the process goes and I felt he did it spitefully because I questioned him. Luckily it turned out to be for the best for us, but I just felt obligated to warn others about our negative experience and hope no one else has to go through the same. read more

I have been here for nearly a year. My son and I both have braces. He gets his from a different place and it is less than half of what I pay at Master orthodontist in Port Orchard. I pay 463.00 a month. The customer service is absolutely horrific. I was called the other day and they asked to speak to my parents. Im 41years old. When I asked to speak to a supervisor about a separate issue, because they said they wanted to charge me a 25.00 late fee because they couldn't get my payment due to the receptionist not inputting the expiration date of my card in properly to their system. I spoke to "Brandy" aka Karen who is the manager. WOW the audacity of that lady and her big mouth. The unprofessional looks and tone that she has with customers is inappropriate. She has 0 clue how to be professional and it is obvious from our interaction today that she doesn't give a about master orthodontist customers. I cannot wait until June of this year to be rid of this company. I regret whole heartedly going to master orthodontist. The orthodontist is actually nice, but it seems he has zero clue his team is ruining his good name with their immature attitudes towards paying customers. read more

I went in the first time for a consultation about an extra tooth+adult tooth stuck in my sinuses, that was preventing my baby canine from coming out. At the original consultation, he had told me to see an oral surgeon, get the extra tooth along with my wisdom teeth removed, and then come back in afterwards, for a consultation about putting a chain on my adult canine, at the second consultation, he quite literally told me there's nothing he can do, my chronic disease, recent diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, has essentially ruined any chance I have at having decent teeth, also told me it's essentially a lost cause all said while practically yelling at me for it. Recently, my dentist referred a different orthodontist, went in for a consultation, they immediately told me that there is multiple solutions to it, and had no issue with the fact that I have type 1 diabetes. Since I've been diagnosed, I've seen probably 5 dentists, and now 2 orthodontists, and out of all of them I had the worst experience here. read more

Dr. Caballero and team let me move at my own pace in my Invisalign treatment and when I saw enough improvement also let me end treatment early. I like that they offer teeth whitening, botox and other cosmetic treatments in house. read more

My grandson gets his braces on July 18. So far my experience with them has been wonderful!! I am able to finance the braces with low monthly payments. read more

I had a severe open bite that required 2 1/2 yrs of braces, then surgery, then another 3 yrs of braces. Dr Lingenbrink did a wonderful job of getting me through those five plus yrs of adult braces. He is good with patients in pain. And he is good with kids also. He has a wonderful staff and a relaxed office atmosphere. Financing the braces was made affordable. I highly recommend this Orthodontist. He also does many good things in the community. read more
