Would never ever use Tony's Master Granite again. Ever!!!
If you want wrong measuring, lines and seams that do not match, large holes cut-- leaving gaps near walls and cabinets, materials mismatched, this is your company...
First, I asked for a quote for a product to go into my bar area. They quoted it and then later had no idea what material they had quoted upon measurements. When it was finally fabricated, they came to install it and left a HUGE GAP under my cabinets! When I complained they said "you didn't have enough for 2 remnants". I said, (well why didn't you tell me that and quote me for 2 remnants?" (obviously I want the area complete and looking nice!!! They said they would make it look nice and add a "strip". In the end, they cut huge holes out under the cabinets and tried filling it with clear caulk, and then also pieced together other areas that absolutely look horrible. They are unqualified to do proper measuring, installing, and then do not stand behind their work at all. Also charged me FULL price for all of this mess so don't be fooled into "they stand behind their work" statements online.
Then, before the horrible experience with the install, I found a marble I liked from the capital circle showroom. They had 2 slabs in stock and told me I needed 4. They said they would find "the same material". Took a few days to look and said they found it. I asked them to write me up an invoice guaranteeing the look of the one I picked and I would come in and pay a deposit. They ordered the new slabs and I came to look at them was shocked they could order something so vastly different. The new products looked NOTHING at all like what I had picked. Even the staff agreed they were not just slightly different, but NOTHING alike whatsoever.
How can a company in business for this long not have a better eye for selecting products they stand behind to guarantee what the customer has picked? When I went to the showroom in person a week later to ask for a solution because they were holding my $8k deposit...Tony started YELLING and screaming at me (and his staff) and refused to refund my money. He even went so far as to race to the bank and cancel the partial check he had cut earlier that morning. He was trying to steal all of my deposit money and offering nothing in return.
In the end, he charged me thousands of dollars for a product he wrongly selected, his measuring botches required me to pay a carpenter out of pocket to fix their mistakes, I got stuck with a terrible install in another area of my home with seams and gaping holes filled with caulk and in general, his demeanor to scream at customers and staff are so unprofessional I do not understand how anyone would do business with him. read more
