I've worked with Gus twice in two years in West LA and cannot recommend him enough. He's been responsive to inquires and available for service in an incredibly timely manner. After getting multiple quotes his price and quality of work were top notch. I live in an HOA with old heavy wooden doors and his suggestions to upgrade to lighter doors which will require less maintenance was also incredibly appreciated. read more

Quality work. Competitive price. Professional service. I needed a new motor installed and the springs re-set for my garage. Received a quote quickly from Gus on a late Friday afternoon. I also received quotes from others and Gus is competitive. He was able to work on my garage early morning on Saturday. He arrived on time. Thoroughly explained any and all issues. The quality of work he provides is excellent. He made sure everything was more than functional and even hauled away the old motor. I will definitely be using his service again if needed. Would I recommend his service? Highly! read more

We needed a new motor and new wheels installed on our garage door and one day after contacting Gus, he came over, diagnosed the problem, drove to pick up the parts and competed the installation in two hours. He gave very detailed attention to all aspects of the system and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. His prices were extremely reasonable with no significant markup on materials and a very reasonable labor charge. He also made sure to clean up the garage after he competed his work. We couldn't recommend him highly enough! read more

Our garage door was in need of repair. Did an internet search for local garage door install/repair business and noticed Master Express was the ONLY local business with a 5 STAR review average. Others were 4.2 - 4.8 which were all great but a 5 STAR? Well after calling to make an appointment, Gus arrived at our house within a half hour, greeted me in a professional manor and with kindness. He looked at the garage door, observed the problem then explained in detail my options to repair the garage door. With no salesman pressure, just his kind advice and options, we chose a solution to repair. Gus immediately checked his work truck to see if he had the parts since our garage opener was over 25 years old. Found the parts, repaired the broken parts and on top of the repair at no additional cost, adjusted the closing mechanism to assure no gap between the bottom of the garage door and the garage floor and lubricated all the moving parts. All this at the original quote price which was in my opinion VERY REASONABLE (actually lower than what I thought it was going to be) and the job was completed within an hour. Gus is a professional at what he does, kind and I was most impressed was his honesty. Feel assured, you wont get ripped off with Gus and his company. My wife and I thank you and will refer you and your company to anyone who needs a garage door replacement or just a simple repair. So nice to have honest people in business you can trust. TRUELY A 5 STAR BUSINESS !!!!! read more
